Last week those dropped I think, I was looking at the DOC one on monday and this one is new.
Wow Major change to inspiring presence!
Good Ruling on the Horrors and those funky dispel things.
No more reforming shenannigans to get teclis in 2nd rank.

No more of the "leaving a character in the 2nd rank" shenanigans anymore either.

Well, yes and no.. Characters can still be in the 2nd rank if the unit is 3 wide as the BRB is very clear on this. However, that negates all of your ranks and I know that people were reforming 5 wide to exploit the rule
At least the second part will be stopped.. If people want to be 3 wide, go for it as you get no steadfast or ranks

Also, ruling on being a Standard Bearer makes Gorbad Ironclaw a uniquely vulnerable General. Lame.
Why not just say that he legs it, leaving the standard, and so ceases to count as a Standard Bearer? Weak.

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.

Presumably he still can as long as the front rank is full of standard/musician/champion and a couple of other characters? Not quite the same though.

Thought it was pretty clear that you didn't get Look Out Sir against those. They're not templates.

Yes I realize that but the FAQ now states under shooting "When hits other than from shooting and close combat" are now resolved using the unusual shooting attacks, and you use those rolls to determine who is hit and they will ALL count as shooting attacks
I can only assume then that direct damage spells that cause characteristic tests or simply remove models are not "hits". Which is fine I guess, still not a big fan of those kind of spells but whatever

I kinda don't get what changes are hit DE Hydra? Is its template (breath) become not one shot, or its clarified to be exactly "one shot" weapon?
