Hi, after a time away from WM I decided to get back into it, and rather than carry on with my Khador, I ordered myself the starts to a Retribution force.
After expanding it a bit with some more units I now have just over 50 points.
This is the collection so far:
Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper +7
Chimera 6
Griffon 4
Phoenix 10
Dawnguard Invictors (with UA) 12
Dawnguard Sentinels (with UA) 11
Mage Hunter Strike Force (with UA) 10
Dawnguard Scyir 2
Mage Hunter Assassin 2
Lady Aiyana and Master Holt 4
It comes to a total of 54, although my brother (who is going to be my main opponent) has larger Cygnar and Legion armies so we may be playing bigger games.
I am after some feedback and suggestions of what to add next.

eiryss for sure.
a second caster too. Rahn is really good, Ravyn is good for strike force assassinations but that has some bad matchups. i also dig garryth as a sort of super solo who can end casters if he gets ahold of them.
i would get discordia too, since she is pretty bonkers with her spray.

Cheers dude, definately getting Eiryss and Discordia (they keep going out of stock with Maestrom- so will have to wait until there available).
Was tempted by either Ravyn or Rahn, but would need some Housegaurd riflemen or Arcane Mages and Magisters, to get the most out of them.
Would Vyros be a good addition? Certainly the toughest, and maybe stick him with Discordia.

Ravyn can work well enough with what you have especially if you're looking into Discordia and eEiryss. Just add in the MHSF and Invictors with their UAs and Aiyana and Holt for some damage buffs and you've got a pretty solid list.
Vyros is rarely a good addition to the point where it doesn't really matter what you're considering adding him to.
Garryth would also play pretty smoothly since he needs some Sentinels for Mirage, but otherwise doesn't really favor anything.

Would you suggest then that Ravyn would be a better choice to lead the force at the moment or add once I go for two warcasters.
Thinking next purchases will be Ravyn, an Arcanists, Epic Eiryss, Discordia and then another unit (possibly Destors and a Destor Thane.)

Avoid destors, the Thanes are good and 2 of them can outshoot a full unit of destors.

There's nothing wrong with Kaelyssa and her feat is really good with Dawnguard spam, Ravyn also works well. Whichever you prefer since your array of units will work fine with either.
Short of the Destors (the unit not the Thane, he's solid) that's a pretty good shopping list you can't go wrong with. I use eEiryss all the time, Ravyn's a solid caster and I use Disco and the Arcanist in about half my lists.

On the subject of eEiryss, it always seems to me like normal Eiryss is better in most ways. Whats the benefits of taking eEiryss?

eEiryss tends to be better and there will be a lot of situations where you wish she had her abilities. Her five inch aura of "sorry your a jack and you won't be doing much this turn, that goes for arcing as well" is just amazing with the right caster. Someone thought they could shake your stationary? Well not any more, and just the ability to stop a caster that relies heavilg on arc nodes from arc noding? Well that's just great. This is all just her Aura as well. While it is five inches there are simply too many uses for it.
She still also maintains disruption/stripupkeeps in melee now which is always great. Just from a utility stand point I'd take eEiryss over pEiryss any day.

Unless you know that your opponent is not bringing Hordes and just camps his focus then eEiryss is usually the better choice (versatility is key).
