Wolf Guard Bodyguard in Terminator Armor

Hey guys,
Any ideas who in the great companies are in charge of flying Thunderhawks and the like in the Space wolfs armies? I guess they wont be blood claws due to their eagerness on getting themselfs killed. Grey hunters or Long fangs maybe?

Servitors, maybe?
Also, I wonder how they're designated? Wolf-1, Wolf-2, etc?

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable. |

Well, in other chapters, techmarines are often seen crewing the vehicles of the chapter. Failing that, the drivers are battle-brothers that received an extra training and were inducted into some aspects of the cult of the Machine-God.
I guess with the SW, it would be similar. Some vehicle drivers are iron-priests, while others are simply random SW that trained with the iron priests to become vehicle pilots, gunners, etc.

This probably isn't very useful, but the latest codex comments that Grey Hunters pilot land speeders, so it's plausible that they pilot other vehicles.

It's Grey Hunters...
They are mentioned in the Space Wolf series.
When you become a GH you can opt for additional training to learn to drive tanks and other vehicles.

lol following fluff they would be designated wolf-1, wolf-2, etc. except that the missions would be names according to the pilots "specialties." Thus, if the thunderhawks are picking up soldiers to take them back to their battle barge then the thunderhawks would most likely go by Valkyrie flight when referring to the unit of thunderhawks and the Valkyrie 1, Valkyrie 2. They have packs just like all the other space wolves packs ;p they are just air wolves ^^ The REAL question here is what company are they in? Would they be considered "special" units such as the rune priests and the wolf scouts? or are they picked and kept within their great company (this is what I believe)?

They stay in the Great Company.
Wolf Scouts aren't in the Great Wolf's Company anymore however...

I'm pretty sure wolf scouts are in the great wolf's company. They are assigned to the other companies on a mission/campaign basis. Afterwards they revert back to his company.

They used to be.
In this Codex they are part of a Wolf Lord's Great Company.
Not sure whether the change is better or not...
I think i prefer it though... makes more sense.

Aside from the Astartes the Fang is also home to the Kaerls, who seem to perform many of the roles performed by chapter serfs in other chapters.
Outside of combat missions where the vehicles are indeed piloted by Grey Hunters and the like, it would seem they take care of a lot of the day to day running of the fortress. T'would be reasonable enough to assume that this would often include the use of vehicles and the like if needs be as well.
