Swarmlord. Abbadon isn't very impressive.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

Depends. Is this a one on one fight or comparing their ability to launch a crusade of sorts?

Swarmlord, hands down. It's a massive 20 ft tall Monstrous Creature wielding 4 swords that has fought across multiple galaxies, and who was capable of running rings around Marenus Calgar and the Ultramarines on their own planet using Hormoguants. Compared to Failaddon the Armless, leader of 13 failed crusades, who all failed, like how his arms failed to hold onto his body, and he is a massive failure.

My vote goes to Abaddon.

The bad boy has daemons running afraid of him. He has survived 10,000 years of war, leading many of the assaults himself and has never fallen.

Swarmlord HAS died (The hive mind just brings him back)

As far as tabletop goes, really comes down to lucky rolls. 1v1 they both have things going for them.

Abaddon is immune to swarmlords ID, has upwards of 10 attacks a turn not on the charge, and only needs a 2+ to wound swarmlord (Which is rerolled).

Swarmlord, forces Abaddon to reroll successful invuln saves, only needs a 3+ to hit and wound, and he has more wounds.

Comes down to luck of the roll with those two, since they both have I6. They're just as likely to kill each other in that opening round (Or two) of combat.

Swarmlord, it has the experience of mulitple galaxies, is a master swordsman in combat and also has many psychic abilities. I think Abbadon would be overwhelmed.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?
