Against Orks. The Predator has already got 2 heavy bolter sponsons.

autocannon, its cheap and is good against infantry and light mech(da trukks)

Lascannon cant sinc with the heavy bolters.

I don't think there's a time where you should *ever* be paying 45pts for a single TL lascannon regardless as to what army you are facing.

Never take the lascannon turret. Double-never take it with heavy bolter sponsons. This should be pretty obvious.

Against orks take the atuocannon because that will waste upon the bigger orks as well as light vehicles that the orks have.

Against Orks? Whirlwind.

I'd go with AC, LCs are overpriced on Preds and overkill vs Orks; battlewagons might pose a threat if you're facing a good player (so you'll only be seeing AV14 until it's too late) so don't rely on your Predators to blast apart all the vehicles.

I'm not sure what the points for the HB sponsoons are in the vanilla codex, but autocannon with the HBs would be best IMO for things like nids and orks. The lascannons would be better against heavier armor, but like L Wrex said...very expensive.

Should always go with the auto cannon turret on a predator. The tl las cannon turret is just too expensive for 15 points more you could have 2 las cannon sponsons which give you two las cannon shots instead of one and you get to keep your turret auto cannon. Against orks you probably want the heavy bolter sponsons unless its a mech ork list.

Auto cannon turret las cannon sponson predators are good buys in all comers lists as an anti tank platform.

Wow... um I don't leave home with out the TL LC because I need the re-roll for the misses (But the two auto-cannon shots should make up for that but for some reason I miss unless in is twin-linked). Vs. Orks though a LC is overkill take the Auto-cannon (Unless there are lots of Battlewagons in his Army!). TBH You shouldn't take a pred vs as ork army. Go with 4 ML Devastator Squad. (130 points for the dev vs 100 points for Blood Angels and 150 for the dev and 85 for the pred for Codex Marines). Yeah more points but 4 blast templates vs a horde or 4 krack missiles for the speed freak trucks. The versatility makes this squad invaluable.
