WHo designed this thing? I need to punch, kick, and destroy their balls. This thing is a horrible thing to build. Super Glue, Pinning, and God just to put a small pieced model together. This thing needs to be turned into plastic for sure.

^Plus one to this. Those things look amazing, but are a pain to put together.^

I've also heard bad things about the SM Thunderfire Assault Cannon.

As an owner of a Thunderfire Cannon, I'd like to confirm that assembly of such is indeed a "grade-a pain in the ass". It's one of my favorite models, but you really will need a dremel tool and a lot of time to assemble it.

A new day, a new time zone.

The thunderfire is one of the things getting turned to resin, isn't it? Might have to give it a shot now.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

If the Thunderfire is going resin with the same molds will it not be just as ill fitting?

Yep, and it will cost more, too.

It NEEDS to have the moulds recut for better casting. Yes, this means new moulds. Not really an issue, as ALL of the parts are on the same spincast mould.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
