Sorry if this has been asked before

Does anyone have any experiences with these models?

I like the look and I need tons of infantry, but I remember hearing some people had trouble with the arms fitting...unless that was something else

They are tricky because frankly they are not that well designed but they do make reasonable looking troops and they fit the cadian arms well enough.
The biggest problem with them is actually the heads because the ball of the head is too big for the neck hollow and the head looks weird when you attach it as the neck is too long.
Some people have chopped the end of the ball off to make it shorter, though I prefer to make the neck hollow bigger, depends on if you have the right sized drill or burr to make the hollow deeper.
They also come with stands molded to the feet which look better when snipped off, otherwise you have to build up your base to hide them - obviously you'll have to buy a bunch of 25mm round bases too as they don't come with them, just the stands I mentioned.

they are a little tricky
If you want to use cadian arms, you have to file down the body since the arm "spots" aren't quite flat.
the above head problem is an issue, not a big one since you just clip the neck with clippers and are good to go.

if you are going to use normal rifles that come with the models, no biggie, they come with a ton of guns and heads, so any chaos or IG player you may be able to part out/sell some grenade launchers or severed heads to

you also need bases, as stated, I left the "build in" base on my guys for easy of build and will cover them up with flock and such.
after building over 100 of them, you "get used" to it.
the gas mask heads are blobby unless you paint them like leather masks.

If you like the actual aesthetics of the model, I say go for it.

Of course I hate almost every design choice of them and consider them poorly made, but if your opinion differs, I have not heard of any issues with them other than aesthetics.

I prefer the Pig Iron heads on them anyways. The IG I have done use a mix of Gretcoat bodies with cadian arms/weapons/kit and Pig Iron heads. Not cheap, but the final result looks good imho.

Its that I'm planning a massive amount of infantry for my ig, and I'd rather spend $20 on 18 guys, then (with GW's price Hike) $30 on 10 guys
Though I'm sure I can find large 'lots' of IG on feebay...

I have two platoons of them in my Guard army (they outnumber the cadians).

The head/body issue was fixed with a 3mm drillbit. Drill the sockets a couple of mm deeper and the issue goes away. I had 30 done in a couple of minutes this way.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
