I just got an IPAD II today, but shipping is going to take 3 weeks Does anyone use one of these for their 40k gaming? Specific aps that are worth looking at? Anyone make a pdf of the rules books/codex books and use that? What are your thoughts? Would you care if your opposition did this?

In friendly games I've used my Iphone to roll dice - The dicenomicon app is great because you can program it in several ways, making it reroll dice that are 4+ or whatever. makes rolling 80 ork attacks quite quick! A pdf reader app is great too, if you don't have any FAQs printed out or whatever.

I use my iPad for viewing PDF codexs and my army lists from Army Builder. I use dropbox to get the documents to my iPad.

I also use taptalk to view some 40k forums and the internet in general to look up 40k models, events and game aids.

Additionally, I listen to 40k Radio, the 11th company, the Eternal Warriors and a few other 40k related podcasts on my pad

Truthfully since I purchased my iPad I have let my home computer and laptop draw dust.
