Stop by a hobby store like Hobby Lobby or Michael, and check out their acrapbooking section. Last time I was in I found some 2" paper punches that were in the style your looking for. The 2" ones will cut through thin plasticard with a little effort, an fit nicely on the roof hatches of rhino. There are also smaller punches and you might find a paperpunch to make custom shoulder pads.

If you look in my gallery you'll see some of my drop pods and rhinos where i uaed a 2" arrow to make the tactical symbol on the kits and a chevron to make the assault and devastated emblems.

If you decide to do this, make sure you go to their website before the store and look for coupons. Hobby Lobby usually has a 40% off coupon on their website every couple of weeks.
