Subject: Does the Vindicare need LOS to the model or unit?
In the codex it says that when he shoots, the controlling player allocates the wounds. It doesn't say that he rolls to hit with LOS drawn to his real target, since at that time you haven't even declared it. Is it safe to conclude that you can snipe squad leaders and the like who are out of range and LOS as long as you can see their unit and have range to someone in front?

Unless the Vindicare's rules say differently, a wound can allocated to any member of a squad that takes it. I don't think that it matters which player is doing the allocating.

Yep, as stated, only need LoS and Range to the unit it's in.
Didn't you know that you can curve bullets around walls and junk as long as you swing your arm hard enough? Hollywood says so, so it MUST be true!
