Troll's Cave

On last game we I came across this situation:




My opponent claims that he can charge flank as he can see (flank) it and he is allowed to do 90 degree free wheel during charge move..

My argument was that he cannot do it because, he is not in the side arc of my unit.


Just wondering what Dakka dakka thinks.

He cannot charge.
You must charge into the arc you are in; in the example you showed, that arc (the front) is blocked by another unit.

AS above.

Just because you can see the flank does not mean you can charge it, you MUST be also in their flank.

He was in the front, and there was no space to charge so they cannot.
