It looks good. Sort of like a Fallout3/Oblivion zombie game, just about everything it was advertised to be.

It does look really good. Lots of attention to detail with the location based damage, and evolving environment.

Saw this earlier 4 person local and online co op with transferable rpg stats = ultimate nerdgasm. Although you can really tell its a foreign dev team from the one liners the protagonist throws out .

Early August is what I've been hearing.

I had great interest in this game before, and now that I've seen gameplay... Can it be August yet?

Kingdom Death Fanatic. Dark Eldar: Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Dark Elves: Allegiance to the Black Crown. Also, Masons, Cygnar, and Legion of Everblight. All unnamed.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

I just hope it lives up to the trailer. It looks promising, though.

The only problem I have with this game, is the numbers that keep flashing up. For this type of game, I'd rather have a game with a very limited HUD. It'd make it much more immersive.

Looks sort of like how Borderlands did the damage numbers...

Anyways, the game looks great. I like the open world feel to it. If they make exploring the jungles etc. fun (rewards, hidden secrets,) I will have a blast. I remember playing Oblivion and as soon as I got out of the sewers, I saw a Mountain and decided to go to the top of it. I was rewarded with a treasure chest with 5 gold piece in it. Totally worth it!

Five gold pieces? Hot damn, I agree, that was totally worth it!

And yeah, the numbers do make me think of Borderlands now that you mention it. I hope there is an option to turn them off (or make them less noticeable).
Also, it better be a damn sandbox game. It'd be amazeballs if it is.

You know what is bad? I didn't detect any sarcasm in that first line...

The developers have said it will be a sandbox game. They said if you can see it, you can go to it. To me the game looks like this:

Just Cause 2 + Fallout 3 + Left 4 Dead.

Not too bad of a combination.

A strange place

I wanted to buy this game from the moment I saw the trailer (wich incidently was here on Dakka)

I'm a bit sad, that they didn't include the dramatic/emotion stuff that you see in the trailer, but still looks like its going to be an epic game.

It still might be in there. We have yet to play it, so hold off on the sadness till we do.

Looks nice.

Too bad it will be either 1) not be released in Germany to begin with or 2) be cut beyond recognition.

But hey, that´s what Austria is for

This looks absolutely amazing. It's like the zombie game that I've always wanted to play. The development team has even added completely arbitrary things that I've always wanted to see, but have never counted on.

They have confirmed that you can turn individual elements of the hud off to make the game more realistic, though I'll definitely appreciate the RPG/arcade-style elements of the game quite a bit.

This trailer made me feel like a bad person for liking zombies. :(

The gameplay looks great, i'm glad the bosses don't look like gigantic freaks of nature and more like slightly stronger normal zombies.
