Do any non-imperial factions have an inquisition?

I know the Tau have the damocles contingent which is similar...

The Orks find plenty of uses for other races.

I don't think so...
It would make sense but Tau haven't quite gotten that hardcore.
Orks aren't well organised enough and frankly solve all internal disputes with the physical equivilant of GWs lawsuits.
Chaos don't particularly care but you could say that certain groups are more information centric than others.
Eldar have said countless times they do not understand humans or many other cultures but on the other hand they have had remarkable insight into other cultures. It may be that the Farseers gather informatio n on all species just to be sure.
Tyranids, take a wild guess.
Dark Eldar also wouldn't particularly care, if it won't fight it will be food.

Tyranids have the digestion pool. Solves many problems

BTW never heard of a damocles contingent (source?). Tau certainly have no Ordo Xenos (they love Xenos generally), no Ordo Malleus (they don't know what Chaos is) and no Ordo Hereticus (they don't know what psykers are).

Kroot have shapers who are in charge of declaring diet taboos or even can sentence other Kroot to exile or even death if a danger to the Kroot race (complex topic).

The Damocles Contingent is an organization of elite warriors drawn from childhood that ensure the loyalty of other Cadres, and they are always the first to land on new planets, have complete authority, and handle sensitive situations.

No, simple as that.
The Damocles Contingent is more of a Vanguard than an Inquisition.
No other race would bother/need it.

That is not a source. In addition, the page does not list sources, and the talk page questions the validity of the article.

Likely fanon.

There is no fanon on the wiki.

If it were, the mods would have eaten the article. Because they eat words.

Then find a source.

All I can find is people talking about how it's complete and utter fan fiction.

Prove me wrong.

Some one has never read some of the ridiculous lies on Wikipedia and the such. Tau have a very, very small amount of fluff sources so any Tau fan can quiet easily read all Tau fluff in a day or two.

This is quiet easily seen as fanfiction and as my old lecturer used to say 'if you reference wikipedia you get and automatic fail'.

OT:
My lecturers have told us that for the last 4 years (reference Wikipedia, get a zero), but when we have revision to do for our final year exams (ie now), what link did they post up for us to look at?? WIKIPEDIA!!
Are you KIDDING me?!

Back on topic:
never trust a Wiki unless it has references, otherwise it is made up/ fan fiction (in this case).

@Revenent Reiko: I was told that it is an instant fail and most likely instant bin for work referencing wikipedia as a serious source.

I don't know about on the table, but in the fluff: Ciaphas Cain - Death or Glory: He liberates an Ork machine shop/work camp with plenty of human slaves.

Ordo's of Xeno's? I reckon there are equivelant governing type bodies amongst other races but nothing like the Ordo's of the Imperium in what I've read so far - There's not much need.

At least not yet (Maybe when chaos and the Tau start getting properly acquianted?).

Well we would get a zero for whatever piece of work we were giving in. (Of course you can just reference whatever WIkipedia referenced instead )

Why would any of the other races need Governing bodies? Theres no need for them as far as i can tell.

Tau dont show up in the Warp (or very little), so arent of much use to Chaos except maybe as pawns (they can still be physically corrupted of cors, but Tau are much less use to Chaos than Huans are, hence the Inquisition).

Yeah, sorry, that was a crappy post:

What I meant were groups who ultimately make the decisions and would look to stopping anyone/thing whose interests are something other than their own or whats best for the race as a whole (Greater good etc).

Well this obviously doesn't include the wikia pages, but for the real wikipedia, the accuracy is equal to/higher than that of the encyclopedia brittanica.

Yes, thats because Wikipedia requires sources (most of the time), which is something the link you posted doesnt have.
