With the rise of GK at tournaments and already 3 people playing it at my local LFGS Razorbacks and Rhinos are moving to a thing of the past. (for my area) They are almost pretty much reliably taken out turn 1 by a GK with those S8 unstunnable TL BS4 or BS5 (ven) Autocannon dreadnoughts...So I decided to modify my normal all comers list to combat this new threat that seems to be spreading all over my local area. A lot of other armies like SW LFs have reliable means to taking out the AV11 of RBs/Rhinos as well.

Bring in the min Assault Squad Land Raider Crusaders. This gives my list craptons more anti-infantry firepower with all the Hurricane Bolters awesome targetting choices via PoTMS + Multi-Melta and a lot more durability. Now only Lascannons (if even that), meltas and higher than S9 weapons can truely scare this mech army. CC ofcourse for Predators will always be hurtful. However as I play a more defensive Mech BA army this seems to just add to that firepower and make the army that much more deadly and survivable.

I personally dont think that taking 3x 5m assault squads in land raiders are going to help... your drastically reducing model count and even if this is putting a stop to the GK, is it going to be effective against other armies?

I believe it will be effective against other armies. AV14 is already hard to deal with and they will provide huge fire magnets. If they are left alone that will be a lot of Hurricane Bolter, Assault Cannon, M-Melta fire going at them. Not to mention 2 targets per LR since PoTMS.

The list really dosnt look too effective sorry some one posted a raider rush list a while back and it looked really good I cant recall it atm but it was nice.

Suggestions take vindicators instead of normal preds vindis are better.

If you are really this concerned about GK, I'd drop the Baal Sponsons. HBs are crappy against an average meta. Against 3+ saves, even worse.

I'd really, really hate to face DE or Orks with your list, either way.

Well I'm planning to do some list with 2 LRs and preferrably AV13. I would like a tough durable list. Possibly with a CC unit now because it seems crucial to forcing my opponents movement away from them.

Advice on what other ways to build the list?

rofl that's funny I would love to have 10 men in ea. LR + a 3rd pred > However at 1850 I cant :(

im actually thinking of modifying it to have less AV13 so I can have more CC :| Dunno yet and would like some insight on anyone who has any experience with Raider Rush with BA...anyone?

No, three LRC's at the 1850 pt level will not cut it.
If you want an AV 13 army, then 5 Predators is a good start.
I'd add some AV 13 Dreads and las/plas Razorbacks.
Using fast movement, smoke and positioning (to grant cover, even 3+), your army should be able to deal with GK.
