Hi mate, I've just got back into this and I've used the NW Gaming Centre in Stockport. Have you got transport to get over there? It's a pretty good set up, cheap friendly. PM me if you're interested, I've got 2500 points of CSM and I'm putting together a Dark Eldar army as well.

sorry guys i completely forgot to mention in my first post, i have about 1000 points of dark eldar, im pretty much a noobie to the new rules as 1) i havent played in 5 years and 2) i was still on the last rule set back then.

So to say im a novice is an overtstaement, so if you want to hone your skills in and completely beat me head to toe then feel free to comment back.

I've only played about 4-5 times myself, still learning the rules and trying to remember to apply cover effcts in combat, or dangerous terrain!

I played once and pretty much just stayed where i was through some dice and got slaughtered.

Head to the manchester store, I've just started and they've sorted me out a few 1000 point games on their veteran nights (tuesday). Check out their facebook / go in to the store, when are you usually free?

Iv been there a few times, its where i used to go when i was a kid, but i dunno its a bit daunting the amount of young kids go in there, some of them are very very annoying :/

Very true, but that's the weekend, on the tuesday night there's very little children. Staff are friendly, sometimes a little pushy but once they remember you, they stop trying to push too much and know what you want to look at. I tend to be around on a wednesday daytime, when the kids are at school.

i was thinking of going of a night time sometime, the thing is i know that vets would probably be a bit miffe dif i went down with extremely limited knowledge of the game , i may have a nip down sometime next week though.

just post on there and see what they say? As i said, I only have the knowledge of what i've picked up reading these forums and rulebook so I've had to ask my opponent what are probably really basic stupid questions, but no one has seemed to mind helping me get to grips with it. :-)
