YKTSFW As the Box (unsuprisingly) died, and Dakka isn't really that much of an RP site, all the RP's funnel into the penthouse where the waiting line is oh so long.

I'm still not sure why we don't just shut down the box and the penthouse and move it all here. Yes there will be bandwaggoning, but that will happen anywhere.

As far as I know the box is dead.

YKTSFW someone suggests killing the Penthouse.

Personally I like the Penthouse as a dedicated RPG site, with GMs and everything whereas Dakka is more for those who.like all-player GM style and those just starting out.

The box died a few days ago, why kill the Penthouse though, it's a successful (as far as I know) dedicated RP site whereas Dakka is a wargaming site.

I just think one site would help with confusion. Also Dakka is more likely to have pure 40k RPs and I like that much better, seeing as the reason I started Internet RPs was to get better at the ones my group does sometimes

What we have is one RP site. The thing is that we can't control what happens here on dakka as none of us are mods, so we can do nothing against the bandwaggon effect. The box was shut down to avoid this, all RPs on dakka were moved to the penthouse or slowly lost interest so that the bandwaggon effect would be stopped, and now the RP community is doing amazingly well. Just because it doesn't happen to be on this website doesn't make it any worse.

Oh, and if you're a mod reading this *cough*reds8n*cough* then I'm sure you're more than welcome in the penthouse as well
