Unlike my previous idea about psychic space furries, hows about a semi-crystalline species made from a made up radioactive element and arsenic based bodily fluids. They breath neon gas and worship Tzeentch.

Kinda done...
Not completly obviously, you could work your stuff into this.
Also, there are dozens of alien races, the ones you can play are merely the biggest. They don't have to worship any god (Chaos or otherwise) but if you read the lexicanum entry they have a slightly suspicious chrch thing going on... so it could work.

Oooooh. I didn't see these guys. I didn't look back after I thought I'd use the Fra'al. The Fra'al still look cool though, and I imagine them gaining a place on the board in the near future, but I don't see the Dracolith gaining a place unless someone seeds ideas on the internet, but I wonder if GW ever looks at this forum for ideas.

I doubt there will be another codex...
GW has its hands full with what it has already.
Also most of the other alien species aren't of the same size or capability required to have a codex...

Since the Dracolith in my book are made out of a highly radioactive material, their main methods of attack will be based on atomic warfare.

They are considered a scourge by the IoM because they not only worship Tzeentch, but the massive amounts of radiation give off cause horrible mutations. Even a decade cannot get rid of the radiation after a Dracolith has set foot on the planet. They don't many psykers, but they worship Tzeentch because they consider change the holiest of things.

Fair enough but the hives of the Imperium are already pretty dangerously irradiated...
You would have to either irradiate the bits where the rulers live or irradiate the hive completely.
The Imperium is a biig place, it's biggest resource is people.
Incidentally the Astartes would be immune to the radiation and so would likely have a fairly easy time fighting them.

The Warp: Maze of Tzeentch

Here, read this, it's all I've currently come up with. They don't sound to overpowering, but there are various tweaks needed. The Dracolith are a bipedal reptillian species that are made of a previously undiscovered radioactive material
the Imperial scientists have decided to call Draconium. Their homeworld is called Comturex, which and it is a highly
radioactive planet that is uninhabitable to all other lifeforms, as even the flora and fauna there are made
of the same material as the Dracolith. The Church of Dracolith is devoted entirely to Tzeentch, as their
holiest concept is change. The Dracolith calendar changes according to the Warp, but it is entirely unknown how
the Dracolith manage to read the Warp. This has also given them a knack for space travel, which they never get
during. A Dracolith ship can drift a thousand years and the captain will know exactly where they are, down to the
decimal. Their warfare is based on atomic warfare, which can cause horrific mutations. They are considered a
scourge by the Imperium as the mutations they cause can sometimes lead to violent insanity. There is also a more
horrible thing. If radiation from a psyker taints an area, the chances of a Tzeentch daemon possesion are
incredibly high. Pregnant moms withing the affected are might have Daemon possesed babies, and it might not show
until it's fully grown. This, coupled with a psychic baby can lead to a more horrible side effect. The daemon can
open a portal the Warp, unleashing terror onto the planet. The Dracolith have been known to kill their own heretics
and criminals and hide their corpses in the sewers of cities. Their weaponry is based on atomic fission, even their
infantry weapons. Rumor also has it that Dracolith scientists are working on a Judgement Day weapon that can make
suns explode. Thankfully for the rest of the galaxy, the Dracolith eggs take a decade to hatch, and they only
reproduce once every century. Unfortunately, their lifespans are extremely long, and a senior dracolith has been
known to outlive a newborn Eldar by centuries. The oldest among them is their current leader, Caspiex. He was
there at the Fall of the Eldar. It is unknow what they use as sustanance, but it is speculated that they
consume the corpses of their fallen enemies, but most guess this is ritualistic. Consumption of other species is
a huge part of their culture, and it has even been reported that they somehow trapped a bloodthirster and started
consuming it while it was still moving. They are currently pushing their way towards Cadia. Their intentions there
are unknown.

If they were heading towards Cadia they would likely be wiped out, Imperial forces around Cadia are heavy and they cannot have any interruption especially from a race that worships chaos.
Why make them radioactive?

The Warp: Maze of Tzeentch

It was a cold dark night on Sabris. The wind was a light breeze. The guards of Incomion were positioned all around the city. They were trying to acting normal, but they all knew something was coming. The whole city was stricken with silence as they felt a strange fear they had never felt before.

"Hey, how's your family doing in Castrium?", said Nom.

"My kids can't wait to see me again next week." ,replied his friend Jackson.

"I need to take a piss.", Nom said walking into the nearest corner.

Suddenly there's a strange light in the sky,"What the hell it tha---", Nom cut off suddenly. Jackson turned around and he was gone.

"Nom? This ain't funny!" He turned around and saw the corpse of his friend with is head split in half. Terrified, he attempted to contact his superiors and request backup, yet all he heard was static. "What the hell is going on?!"

Suddenly a shadow in the dark moves, and he fires his lasgun. It's a cat. As it drops dead, he feels a sickening feeling in his stomach, as he turns around he sees a creature with black scales and piercing red eyes and wings staring at him. He starts hearing voices in his head. Whispers of Chaos, speaking of a scheme, and the screaming of some foul creature. He know, this is a dracolith psyker. He attempts to run, but suddenly one of his legs go numb. He falls and notices the dracolith standing over him with his leg in hand and he hears the screaming of other guardsmen across the city. He guesses he didn't hear them because of his screams. The dracolith says "The Imperium is weak, Cadia will fall, and Tzeentch's will shall be done. Your God Emperor will be consumed by my master. You're family will die, too. I'll see to it." The guardsmen in tears, the dracolith proceeds to step on his head as he walks away, with the death of more humans in mind and pleased that he broke a man down to tears.

The men of Cadia will not have seen anything like them before. Plus the army they are massing is massive. And they are radioactive because it's a little bit of change. Plus this is fantasy isn't it. And a dracolith is hard to kill. Crystalline and hard. Plus when you heat up their surface, their arsenic blood spurts out, and you know what that does to carbon based lifeforms.

The men of Cadia are some of the best fighters in the Imperium of man.
Not only that but there are a lot of Space Marines surrounding Cadia...
Take out the attacking Cadia bit, just go with what is says in the link. They have recently begun invading Imperial worlds and are relatively small in the long run.

It's not the psykers they won't be able to deal with, it's just the way they wage war. They're clever and they're way of warfare is different from anything else they've faced. It's kinda like the Huns in how others reacted to them.

No, that's to have fun. They're very evil remember. You got the random part right. They have no set tactics. They adapt according to the situation. It's their weaponry that's so hostile to fleshies. It doesn't matter how brave you are. Plus I imagine the assault troops would give them trouble. Not only can they jump, but they try to jump on their enemies and crush them with their weight. They are extremely heavy. They are more of a mysterious race right now than a true galactic threat, and I never said they were anywhere near Cadia right now. They are a long way away from being able to take it both distance and military wise. They are still building, and they're long lived and patient.

Their weaponry would only affect unenhanced humans though...
It would be wholly ineffectual to marines who also adapt acording to the situation...

They are the biggest problem they currently face. They have a strange respect for the space marines and they applaud their courage. But still though, the casualties they inflict on everybody else is enormous. I'd say that they're the xenos equal of the Space Marines. Like I said though, they're more mysterious than anything else. This is fiction too, unofficial. And they aren't that populous. There are way more Space Marines than Dracoliths, but one on one vs. a normal space marine, a dracolith would win. They have a low population like I said though, and a loss of more than 300 dracoliths is a serious blow.

I don't think they'd do much on Cadia , if you've read about the 13th Black Crusade there are also Chaos Cults on Cadia and a massive Imperial force made up of some of the Imperiums finest Warriors. They may give of Radiation but they wouldn't last long after thousands of Guardsmen begin to attack them. They only seem to Worship Tzeetch because of the Heat and Radiation they give off. Space Marines are probably on the same skill level as Dracoliths and could win in one on one combat.

Kinda stupid move if you ask me , I mean they could easily be wiped out by the Imperium and would be if they're "better" than Space Marines.

I know, I understand what you're saying. That's why they're waiting. They know they're not strong enough yet. But if Cadia is under heavy attack from at least 2 other factions, they still won't attack until they're ready.

If they're a threat to Space Marines I think a Exterminus and a Crusade will sort them out. Basically how long will it take for the to reach the numbers when they can begin their crusade of terror ? And whats their current numbers?
