Nope. I've actually tried that, and there is nobody in my friend group interested in 40k. It's ALL football here.

I live in the middle of fking no were southwest VA, land of moonshine, rednecks and hillbillies. There's at least 12 players out here. Hang around your FLGS for some time were they sell 40k and talk to people, there are always players in the area, you just may not see them.

Any ways some nice beardy guy showed up on a donkey and holed out with me for a while.
Nice guy.
Wonder what ever happened to old Osama, or Sammy as we used to call him.
AH Happy days til the cave got blown up by some passing aircraft.

Similar to my situation, no FLGS, no real way to find a group short of running around town in the buff calling out to passersby to see if they play 40k.

Welcome to my world. When I lived in Corpus Christi TX had plenty of people to play. But now I live in Union Springs AL the bung hole of the warp, have to drive an hour too Mongomery just to get a game in
