Okay, so I'm currently adding to my force with some penal legionnaires - however, I am struggling with ideas for a custodian - here's the basics:

My legionnaires are going to be a kitbash of cadian bodies and catachan arms/heads.

For my custodian, I have three ideas:
1. A commissar - basic idea being that they're gloriously leading the prisoners on a death or glory mission.
2. A disgraced officer - maybe using a torso from the Command box with the medals on it.
3. A torture expert - with homespun elecro-shock baton thing.

Ideas on modelling these ideas would be lovely, as would other fluffy suggestions

My overall theme is riot control guard so I was wondering if I should try having some punky legionnaires with liberty spikes etc.. ideas?

Well, you could have a kind of ripped up looking commissar with a riot shield.

I like the disgraced officer idea - in a ragged patched officer uniform with all insignia and rank ripped off.

That could work, for weapons, I was thinking about modelling him with some sort of whip or other controlling device, thoughts?

As far as equipment goes, yes, he would be given some sort of intimidation equipment to keep his unwilling conscripts in line - they aren't going to respect him much.

If your army has a low tech look, then a whip or club or similar would be fine, presuming he looks mean and tough enough to use it. (Sudden image of officer with his uniform's arms ripped off, revealing Catachan-style muscular arms underneath.)

Or for a hi-tech army, an electronic pain gun or similar - perhaps even give the conscripts electronic collars and he holds the electronic pain controller.

Who needs pain collars when you can give them explosive collars You could even do a "casualty" model who pushed his luck just that bit too far

That could be good, although a little labour intensive. I do like the idea of a pain gun...
