I'm not the first to try and convert a Dreadknight into a thing of Chaos, but I felt I could put my own spin on it and I've actually got a few other ideas for sequels I might get around to some day. This particular one is for my Slaaneshi CSM force made up of Eldar/Marine hybrids. Ages ago I chopped up some of the (then) new Banshees and plastic CSM's to make Chosen for 4E Chaos. I always liked how they looked, so even though 5E Chaos doesn't have all the fun cult flavor of 4th, I went with the dedicated Slaanesh theme anyway and decided to make all my MoS troops women in looted power armor because Slaanesh just loves pretty things...

I always wanted to do some conversion with Lelith as well without chopping her up too much and it all worked out it seems. Things to keep in mind;

There will be chains going from Lelith's hands into the sockets where the roller coaster harness plugs in to hold the GK in the Dreadknight. She's not quite in the right pose in any of these pics, but it's close enough to get the gist of it. Also, the blu-tac wasn't holding everything too secure, just enough to keep it standing. As such, it's probably leaning a bit here or there in ways that it won't quite once it's all done.

And now, pics...

The rest of the gallery is mostly similar shots.

Sorry for the low image quality. I wanted to use a low aperture to get as much detail in focus as possible and I don't have enough light to get both high quality images and super sharp details. C&C welcome and appreciated.

To think that if I had never got into Warhammer, I'd probably have enough money for a down payment on a house...

Current inventory includes Slaanesh, Generic clean marines, Orks, and IG.

I like the idea behind this, although it is still WIP. What are the metal pieces on the leg for?

I think the model would benefit from a few small model chains. You could set their shape and add some movement to the model.

The metal bits on the legs are just makeshift paperclip springs to hold the halves together as they're not glued. I could have blu-tac'd them together, but that would have just been more stuff to clean up afterwords and I already had the clips made...

I was thinking of doing a little GS on some of the plates but couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. I primed most of the parts the other night, but might still go back and do some GS as paint generally sticks to the stuff about as well as if it's primed.
