I have only played orks in the two years ive been playing 40k. I know there are some army configurations i really hate to see across the table like , Mech Guard, and Mc heavy daemons.

That'd be tons of fun to watch, but only in high speed...

Well generally if any army has a huge model count it gets rather frustrating to wait for the enemy to finish his/her turn.

I shall rule the world someday utilizing my cuteness. And I already have one minion to help me do it!

Of course it makes sense. When there are a bunch of BDSM clowns doing Olympic gymnast routines throughout your unit, while also cutting off heads, you tend to get a bit distracted.

Anything my friend fields... because we all are very wary of what moves he can pull out. So far it's only Deathwing, but with a TAC IG and GK army in the works I fear more of him.

Mainly because a green tide army is more fun to play against IMO...

On moon miranda.

There aren't any Ork armies that I really "hate".

That said, Green Tides are always a tough fight. No room to manuver, there's orks everywhere, and you can't kill them fast enough to weaken them sufficiently before they hit your line. These are always fun to play against even if you lose because there's always a respectable dead pile on both sides.

Nob Bikers depending on the army can be rough, or they can just get stomped. My CSM's hate Nob Bikers because they can't bring enough killing power to bear to destroy them, my IG love them as I can often wipe out or cripple a unit each turn.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

None.

I'm just happy to see another army that isn't power armoured

I love playing with, and against, orks.

It's always a blast regardless of who wins, unless the other player is a complete doink attempting WAAC with orks (that really sucks the fun out of the orkiness).

Thankfully WAAC ork players are vanishingly rare, in my experience.

Anything with basic infantry 3+ save. It's frustrating when you get almost all hits, and almost all wounds, but then lose next to all against cover saves.

Or Green Tide/Tyranid Swarm. Tau's basic weapon is tailor-made for anti-meq, and the increased model cost to compensate for it makes you unable to field the numbers necessary for anti-horde.

I wanna go back to New Jersey

I hate only one. As it has been the only build I've seen for over 2 years.

In a nutshell
Battlewagon w/PK Nobs,PK Painboy, and PK Boss followed by-

Lootedwagons w/full Burnas, supported by-

Full Lootas sitting in the same terrain filled anti-DS zone, backing-

Large mob of Biker PK Nobs, with a PK Painboy, and a PK Boss ever enshrouded in perma-4+ coversave.

There's also some boyz in trucks but all they ever do is make sure I don't bottleneck his Bikers and/or give no TLOS to his wagons.

Oh yea and I bet you didn't know they're also lead by a hidden PK Nob.

@Chilipowderkeg

That's a ridiculously easy list to puncture in some ways. A bit rougher in others, but if they always play that list it's easy to work around.

Immobilize or better the battllewagon then bombard the nobz from range. Heavy bolters + will chew them up with no armour saves.

Looted wagons are unreliable (remember that they have to roll each turn or just go shooting forward) and very fragile.

The large mob of PK nobz is a massive pointsink. Drop a few big blasts on it (especially for marines- vindicators negate the FNP and the armour saves.).

How are the nobz getting a 4+ permanent cover save?
If they are biker nobz i could understand this. If so take a whirlwind or similar cover denyer (flamers are good too) and nix that cover save. Painboys don't get to take PK unless they are Grotsnik, who is an HQ choice.

Trukka are built from tinfoil. A single bolter shot cantake one out. If the boyz are trukk riding then the unit is tiny, and easy to wipe even with a PK in the unit. 6+ armour helps not at all in cc, and PK go last.

The lootas are the most efficient part of the list, but have 6+ armour, no bosspole. Shoot them a few times and watch them run away due to low morale once you get them down a few. Long range fire like (again assuming marines) whirlwinds or devestators firing frag will leave the unit in tatters. Landraiders can just ignore them and act as a moving wall to protect a unit behind.

If you are a Tau player, as your sig seems to suggest you'll find that your basic infantry gun can absolutely WRECK trukks, and has a very good chance of wounding orks. Markerlights can drop those nasty cover saves and hit and bounce attacks from battlesuits/stealth suits are awesome for sodding up the vehicles

In short, adapt . If you'll PM me the list and points value i'll happily break it down for you how to beat seven shades of green out of it Also let me know what armies you have available
