I'm going to start painting other's models for pocket money in the summer, but don't know how to start it.
I already have one order for 30€ and I have decided my prices, but don't know how to make people aware of this.

For those who are interested, my first commission is 7 Plague Marines, 5 Chaos Terminators and Typhus.
2€ per model (6 per IC).

Start a blog, post your WIP photos everywhere that's relevant (ie Dakka for pretty much anything, Warseer, B&C)... Put a link in your sig and you'll get enquiries if you're up to the job. Not really difficult. You can also sell on eBay with an 'I also do commissions' mention in the item description.

I mean't only local.

If you have a FLGS that you can display your stuff in, do that. Put a link to your blog on your signage, or use your internet name - something folks can remember or scribble on the back of their hand to google later.

Other than that it's word of mouth only, which means having a rep and showing up with nice painted stuff for people at the local meeting / gaming spot.
