GW do have some nice models for Inquisitors but I don't think they have one in power armour, I like Corteaz but his armour looks too bulky for my liking, Has anyone got any ideas of of what I could use to kitbash one? I have plenty of spare Grey Knight bits left over for icons and stuff I'm just stuck on what to use for a head and armour.

Cheers

Corteazs armour is actually less bulky than normal PA
TBH i think that would be the least bulky armour, because, its power armour, its meant to be bulky

Probably work

Which Ordos were you considering? I'd honestly just go with Coteaz for anything Malleus. I have two Coteazs, one is my 'cheap' inquisitor, who just has power armor, bolt pistol, and chainsword, and then the other one is my 'real' Coteaz. You can clip the eagle off and repair the arm guard with a bit of green stuff, then save the power hammer for someone else, and just pin a SM hand carrying whatever weapon you desire in the other hand.

Plus then you have an inquisitor who looks like he's about to dramatically bestow respect knuckles upon one of your grey knights.

I see what you mean, but I'm not too keen on the cortaez model.

My Inquisitor is going to have a power weapon and a bolt pistol, just need him for a small tournament at my local club, but I guess the cortaeZ model will be better to covert now that it's in resin, still open to ideas though

Thanks

I've seen that bit before. I recall sticking it on something as prescribed by GW directions, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. SM HK Missile maybe? Doesn't feel right though.

At any rate, my advice, if you want to avoid Coteaz then, would be to buy a SM Commander similar to Tek's above, and then bling it out. Maybe put GK shoulderpads (or a GK shoulderpad) on it. I think there's one in the GKPA box that has the "I" on it.

What about if I was going for an Inquistor in Carapace? The GW ones are nice again but the prices are silly, anyone done any nice conversions there?

Gathering the Informations.

Are you absolutely 100% sold on doing a conversion? Because there's a really nice Inquisitor from Forge World that can be done as either Carapace OR Power Armor.

I totally forgot about forgeworld, Hector Rex and this guy, both suit my needs, cheers
