So... the whole PSN debacle is supposed to be over and the online store is back up. I logged in yesterday, went to the store and tried to find the free games they promised and couldn't find anything about it. Anyone know how you get your free stuff? There was supposed to be some list of like 5 or 6 games and you could download 2 of em for free, and get a free month of of that PSN+ thingy..

They're in the final phases of testing for the code to only allow the right people to get them (so sayeth the PS Blog on the PS website)

We should be able to get the games soon, rumours indicating within the weekend.

I messed mine up , when you are on the screen where you selet your games, dont press back or else you will not be given the option to return and pick the games.

If anyones had this problem and can solve it advice would be nice.

I will have to log onto PSN and have a look ifI get free stuff

PlayStation Network > Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List > SCEA Promotions > Game 1 > Select Content

Free games sayeth you? As in proper games or fail minigames?

Also, when you download those for free or activate the free PSN+, do you need to give any extra information like credit card number?

Though I got the choice between Dead Nation, Infamous (I think it was this one), LittleBigPlanet, some wipeout racing game and ratchet and clank.

Downloading inFamous now.
Saying that, though, it's been downloading for about 16 hours and only 50% complete.

Everyone is on PSN downloading, so it's really slow.

Hey guys, quick question: I have three online accounts on my PS3, does that mean I can download all 6 games, or is there some security in place to ensure I can't? Because I'm definately getting InFamous, and I can't decide between Wipeout, Ratchet & Clank and Dead Nation, and that would make the choice a whole lot easier (as in, non existent)

You can get two PS3 games and two PSP games. Infamous, Little Big Planet, Stardust, Dean Nation, and Wipeout are available for PS3.

Killzone Liberation, Pursuit Force, Little Big Planet, and Mod Nation racers are available for PSP.

Yup, you can, I can confirm this, because I did exactly that.

You guys must be getting something different, mines only been showing LBP and no Ratchet or else I would be getting Ratchet and Clank as well.

Hmm i only chose 1 game , i thought i had to do it twice for 2 games.
Since it displayed 2 voucher boxes >.<

There should've been two boxes for free PS3 games. When you click on either one you get the option of downloading; Game 'x' download, Infamous, LBP, Wipeout, Dead Nation, Stardust.

You download the 'game 'x' download' first and then you download one of the ones in the choices.

After that you go to the other PS3 free download and do the same.

If you download the free voucher and exit out of the selection of the free game you have to follow the steps in one of the first posts to start it again.

Aww i just chosed wipeout and it says its a demo? :x

The wipeout package is a a demo, a dlc map pack thing, and another smaller file that unlocks the demo and makes it the full game.

Haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I mostly picked it for the local 2 player co-op feature.

dead nation is a top down 2 stick game where you move with the left stick and spin around and aim with the right .. actually don't like it that much so I guess it's worth the price I paid :p

I guess this is what that 40k kill team game is gonna be like...?

For the 2 free psp games do i need a psp to play? or can i play psp on ps3? xD

You would need a psp to play them. Still, they are free and maybe someday you'll get a psp.
