When will El Johnson wake up? I play BA, but I also enjoy the dark angels, I want to see a huge crusade happen, where the Primarchs Return.

They all had to go, and if one comes back, all than can must as well. If there is just one Primarch around he would be the de facto heir. The cynic in me says that GW cannot allow the IoM have direction, vision, guidance or anything like that.

They will return for the final battle. When the end of universe begin as the final battle between our forces ( our universe ) and warp begin.

We will see return of the Emperor and Primarch, return of the Eldar, unifing Orks, Necron Legions, main Tyranid Hive Fleet...

Most likely never. The structure and dogma in the IoM at present would render him and the other Primarchs a huge intel threat.

High Lords wouldn't want someone running around who had intimate knowledge of the Emperor's will. If any of the Primarchs returned they would be at odds with the High Lords, who currently own the IoM. The added fact that not one but most likely all the Chapters would opt for the guidance of a Primarch over the High Lords would also cause huge problems.

Sanguinus and Ferrus are both dead so not likely to return any time soon. The rest will come back for this huge apocalyptic battle that's constantly referred to in cannon.

The previous story was that he was sucked into the EoT.

Run down of the primarchs

FERRUS MANUS is dead for sure, so's sanguinius, dorn too, konrad's head is missing, and one of the alpha legion primarchs is dead.

Vulkan is missing, Horus is worse than dead, roboute is in stasis, lion'el is supposedly hidden in the rock, Khan is lost in the webway, russ is somewhere in the warp and so is corax.

He went missing when Caliban got ripped apart. Unbeknownst to everyone, he somehow ended up sleeping in the middle of what's left of Caliban, and has stayed that way ever since. The Watchers in the Dark know where he is, but they're not talking. Luther *might* know where he is, but Luther's not exactly sane these days and all he'll tell anyone is that he's waiting for Johnson to return. Cipher might know just because he's Cipher (and no one knows exactly what Cipher wants and/or knows). And no one else even suspects.

Well, in several pieces of fluff, Russ was dying when he took off for the Warp. His current status is unclear.

In Battle of the Fang that came out a little while ago, Magnus intimated that he had an idea of where Russ currently was and that it wasn't pleasant. But it was one line, hard to interpret.
