It would be really nice if you could view the number of subscriptions a thread has, especially your own.

In addition to this, if you could see a list of the subscribed and search through them that might be useful.

Thoughts?

Sorry for the slow reply.

Subscriptions to a post outside of auto-subscribing is uncommon. 99% of the time the number of subscriptions would be equal to the number of users posting in a thread. As such, it is not worth the effort to implement.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'a list of the subscribed'?

I think he means a list of everyone subscribed to the thread that could be viewed by users.

ah, in which case it is the same as the other comment - 99% of the time it would just be a list of who has posted in the thread. People generally tend to navigate manually back to a thread (or use the search engine) instead of subscribing.

I occasionally subscribe to threads without posting with the goal of reading them properly later, but end up either forgetting about going back to visit them through the search function as I have so many subscribed threads and the get lost

Edit: Though obviously if a thread had a list of people who were subscribed to it, that would not help subscribers keeping track or finding the thread

Thanks for the reply! I totally see what your saying. I'm a backwards sorta guy and a bit OCD so i have loads of rules i have to follow for subscribing. Sometimes i forget people aren't nearly as FUBAR as me...

To explain further, i can subscribe to any thread i myself have posted on, BUT if i didn't start it then i remove it as soon as i log off ALTHOUGH i may go through the same process the next day. Threads i have started i MUST keep subscribed to no matter how old or useless they now are. The only exception so far is Dark_Gear's Nids blog, why? I don't know probably because i'm such a regular poster and hes a cool guy with great work! Haha!

So yeh... FUBAR!
