Ok everyone, I am building towards a 5k OK list, and only have 3996 points, so if anyone has any suggestions or ideas, i am all eyes.


Lords/Heroes:
Tyrant, Tenderizer, Armor of Destiny
Slaughtermaster, Bloodcleaver
2x Butchers

Core:
2 units of bulls, 17, Bellower, standard bearer, Ironfists
Ironguts, 11, full command, BSB (Rune Maw)
2 units of Gnoblar Fighters, groinbiter, 30 gnoblars


Special:
2 Scraplaunchers
Leadbelchers, 4.


Rare:
Slavegiant
Maneaters, 4, 2x braces of handguns, 2x Cathayan Longsword



Again, I want to fill out that last 1k points, but not sure what to add where. My idea, right now, is to have the Tyrant run with the Ironguts, and the 2 butchers run with the bulls, which will be in horde formation 3 deep. The slaughter master will be somewhere in the "middle" where he can be the most good to the most units.

Ask any empire player, you want as many S3 large template warmachines as you can squeeze in.
I'd run 2 at 2500, I'd expect 4 at 5K.

You need a BSB.
I'd split the 2nd horde of 18 ogres into 3 units of 6. One horde, and a dozen iron guts is enough, after that you can diversify.
I strongly suggest a single block of 121 or 144 gnoblars. (11x11 or 12x12). Those little bastards will hold the flank like nobody else can, and cost the same as a small ogre unit.

I'd drop the double butchers for a 2nd slaughter master. Having 2 level 4's is a good thing, and the 12" range is much better than 2x 6" ranges.

I forgot to mention, that the ironguts were what i labeled (on army builder) as the bsb, since i gave them the magic banner

A bruiser has to carry the BSB. You can give the Iron guts a magic banner under a certain amount of points but they cannot carry the BSB.

Fixed the BSB issue.

If i added 2 more blocks of 6 bulls, would that accomplish the same thing, and i'd still get to keep my 2 horde units??

Get more Ironguts. And then ditch the Slavegiant and get more bulls, I also recommend more Leadbelchers

I have never had much success with leadbelchers, even as a "provide cover and/or annoyance" unit. Why should I get rid of the Slavegiant (it probably wont happen, i have the model already), it definitely seems like a 'fun' unit that, when things go right it can cause some carnage.
