I've had a look through the first three pages and couldn't find this thread there and I keep getting and error when I try to search ('Fatal Error') so I'm going to post this and just let a Mod lock it if needs be.

I've been pottering around recently putting off painting the rest of my army and instead painting up a few minis out of my bitz box (OOP skaven and orc's) and, letting my mind wander, I've been toying with some project ideas I'd quite like to do but don't have the time or cash to start right now:

1. Traitor IG - When I get time to develop some proper green stuffing skills I'd love to do a Blood Pact army
2. Chaos SM/Daemon army with GWAR special characters - I'd love to do a GWAR themed special squad for a chaos army, maybe termi squad with Oderus as captain and the others as the rest of the squad or even as captains/special characters in their own right
3. Suit/tux wearing Orks - Still orkies in every other sense than...they...well, wear suits/tuxes - I'd have a warboss wearing a turquoise tux: Oh yeah
4. 'Aliens' themed Nid army - No, not black coated nids, I'd look closer to the Giger artwork for the colouring (Greys, dark purples/blues and blacks)
5. Heavily Hellraiser influenced Dark Eldar - Yeah they are pretty much there already but I'd like everything to be closer to the Cenobite-looking Haemonculae

What projects do you dakkites dream of?

I want to make a custodes force, for my shelf, and invent some rediculously OP rules for them for apoc.

1.Chaos Dwarves- Using the new FW chaos dwarves as WoC, and any other race i see fit as their slaves (marauders?)
2.Isstavan themed Ravenguard - They are described in one of the newer books as wearing armour scavenged from all of the dead (as in every legion present) at Isstavan
3. GI Joe/Cobra themed IG - Snake eyes as Marbo? Yes please.
4. Teenage mutant Ninja Turtle Themed Orks - GS masks on boyz to be the foot clan, led by the big boss, Shredork!

A thing I'd like to do if I had the money, just for the sheer awesomeness of it, is the Slaaneshi Land Raider Dominator. A Land Raider with three Noise Marines on top playing a rock concert.
Would have one NM who sings with a doom siren and microphone, one with a big guitar as Blastmaster, and finally I'd place the organ from the exorcist on the back of it with one playing it.

Thinking about going for some wargames factory shocktroops to replace some of my guardsmen, maybe enough for 2 squads of vets to start with just to get a feel for them and then make my mind up, but for now i just made a late start on a finecast Lord Comissar to pop into my local GW finecast painting comp this saturday.
shame i lose thursday to pool league and friday to jack daniels, gonna be a bit of a rush on to finish him in time.

would love to see that Slaaneshi project take off Saintspirit, would be awesome XD

Putting a DP/any slaaneshi marine in a Hottub on top of a Landraider as well has always been a fond idea of mine.

Well my next project was going to a Dark Eldar army, or an Imperial Guard Tank army.

Unfortunately when I did the army lists I wanted to build and then went out to GW to get a purchase list they both topped $600 dollars in cost.

So my next project is:

...some stuff I already have. Blood Angels Vanguard additions to an army I have painted already.

Thousand sons army
HQ: 1.) terminator sorcerer
Troops: 6x Thousands sons squads
Heavy: 8 Obliterators, done up like sorcerers
Elites: "Thousand Sons" attack squads ("fast attack" as compared to the regular slow and purposefuls)

Alternatively, get rid of the terminator sorcerer, replace him with ahriman and a sorcerer in PA and an additional obliterator, and attach them as heads to the two elite squads.
Nine squads Nine strong.

I'm one of those carousel project people keeping multiple projects constantly in the works. What happens to be on the wheel today?

Since I just finished a few I've added a new major terrain piece to the wheel.

Building up my own Iron Priest with TWM. Just waiting for my models from Mythicast (and trying to get my hands on a Servo-arm Harness).

Make an IG army. Mainly foot, possibly some russes, if someone really sells them to me

My next project that i would like to do would be converting the vendetta kit into a black hawk helicopter, or try to convert some Ogryns to look like they belong to the DKOK

I'm thinking of making Fenresian Guard.

Hopefull over the summer I'll be able to work on a super heavy artillery piece I've been planning for a while (think Baneblade, but with an equivelent sized Collossus siege cannon on the back...or a big ass Medusa). Sure this is all hoping, and I'm guessing the project'll be nowhere near completion by christmas seing as I still have so many others on the go ( I've still got half a scratch built guard army to convert-inspired by the norts from Rogue trooper and the anime Jin-Roh) and well...seing as I've never actually played apocalypse and don't see myself doing so in the immediate future, chucking my social life to work on a display piece doesn't really warrant the highest priority. =/

But alas, I love siege tanks (...and walkers). ^^

Definitely wanting to beef out and finish my Troll army sometime this year. Already got some upcomming projects ready for it though.
Namely repainting my FW Great Chaos Dragon and finishing my FW Chaos Mammoth. I also just ordered the Tamurkhan on Toad Dragon so my Troll army can be truly massive! In different ways of course...

I am planning to scratch build a monolith. What will the scratch build be? I am going to make a Tardis, as my monolith.

I want to make a halloween themed chaos army. When I'm done polishing off my necrons, and have built a guard army...

All I really want to do is complete my Praetorian IG, need to add a few tanks/transports, some Rough Riders and two Infantry squads, maybe a penal legion.

After that, I'll be searching for alternate minis (Zombies,Cops,Armed Citizens,etc) for a Home brew Zombie Game I'm working on.
