I was hoping I could get everyones opinion on which army list I should use for a local doubles tournament coming up. I know my partner is going to be blood angels but I do not know his exact army list. The rules state that we must share one FOC. So, based off what I know I built two lists and would like your comments and help on deciding which is the better to bring. Only one rule I do not use vehicles, excluding sentinels in my lists.
List 1:
H.Q.
CCS- Meltagun (3), Regimental Standard, Astropath, Officer of the Fleet
Ministorum Priest (2)- Eviscerators
Troops
PCS- Al'Rahem, Meltagun (3)
PIS- Power Weapon, Meltabombs, Flamer, Commissar, Power Weapon
PIS- Power Weapon, Meltabombs, Flamer
PCS- Meltagun (3)
PIS- Power Weapon, Meltabombs, Meltagun, Commissar, Power Weapon

You should contact your partner and find out what kind of list he is making. If he is doing a outflank/Deep Strike list, your going to have the only thing on the board possibly facing down two armies, meaning turn 1 you will/could be shot to peices, specially if your also outflanking chunks of your list.
If he is heavily DSing/Outflanking, use list 2 (I would still consider a OotF in it though). With the mini-AC blobs, put plasma in them since they are static. I don't know what you can sack for the points though, at least ditch the Krak grenades.
Good luck!

Drop Trooper with Demo Charge

Really and truly I would leave the troops to the BA player. You'd be better off bringing some armor. For all the points I see spent on troops, there are no chimeras. your infantry will be slow bullet magnets.
You should try to pick units to support him. I'm not sure if he's going drop list or what, so I don't know what parts of the chart you'll be sharing. I can say that the guard excel at armor, so keeping his infantry entangled in the enemy will be best. Supporting them as a forward element would seem the wisest move.
I can tell you that point for point, the marines are better suited for HTH combat. Keeping a blob of 30 or 40 as an objective holder would be nigh unstoppable if kept near straken, and loaded with power weapons.
Keep the commies, power weapons, meltaguns, flamers, OOTf, and astropath. Drop the grenade launchers, a few meltabombs, and the priests. always go with flamers over grenade launchers. they ignore cover, cost the same, and have a larger non scattering template.
Otherwise this is a leafblower list. i've played them for a while and found that they are very impressive to the eyes, but not in the field. speed is your biggest weakness right now.
