So testing out warriors of chaos list 2 going with the more than a single sorceror and also seeing how knights with a rank actually do in combats. Please toss up any ideas for changes you might recommend.

354 chaos lord w/ bronze armor of zhrakk, chaos runesword, chaos steed, shield, talisman of endurance, mark of khorne
180 Chaos sorceror w/ biting blade, mark of nurgle, infernal puppet, level 2
160 chaos sorceror w/ sword of might, mark of nurgle, level 2
200 exalted champ w/ BSB, axe of khorne, shield, mark of tzeentch
415 20x warriors w/ FC, mark of nurgle, halberds, banner of rage
420 20x warriors w/ FC, mark of nurgle, shields, blasted standard
292 50x marauders w/ musician, standard, great weapons, mark of khorne
480 10x chaos knights w/ musician, standard, rapturous standard, mark of khorne

2501 points

Also didn't have a brb handy atm I know I'm not supposed to type this but talisman of endurance was 30 right? will edit out as soon as confirmation is given.
warriors would be running 5x4 knights 5x2 and marauders 10x5

each nurgle sorc with a unit of warriors, BSB can either drop axe of khorne and catch a mount and go with knights and equipped with a glaive of putrefecation or martches with the banner of rage group. Lord of course with the knights

Suggestion for the bsb

Maybe give the sorcerer a shrieking blade to cause fear.

Maybe drop the warriors down to 18 men and run em 6 wide 3 deep.

10 knights way over kill 5 or 6 will do more then enough damage.

Would be quite nasty great armor save great great ward.

the 10 knights to me feels overkill also, but after what happened to me in the last 2 tournament it almost feels as if I need the extra knights, mostly to be able to break rank / not lose combat v units with more than 3 ranks. Although I never had a champ or lord with them, so not sure if he would make up for the not 10 knights warriors were there to fill points usually run them 5x3, 6x3 sounds good also

10 knights just cries out nuke me and the back rank only gets 1 attack and are you suing your knights correctly? dont frontal charge.

If you are looking for a competitive list then there are a fw issues with this list.

Lvl 4 tz sorcerer
lvl 2 support caster with puppet
tz warriors maybe khorne warriors
khorne or tz knights blasted standard works really well with tz knights.
hallcannons are great support.

Thats if you want to make this way more competitive.

I was using the knights for back field hunting and at the 2 times I failed LD checks I flank charged a squad of dark riders and a squad of slaves respectively in the tourney where I was running this list.

L: Sorcerer Lord - MoT, level 4, roar, infernal puppet, talisman of preservation, disc = 410

H: Exalted - MoT, BSB, talisman of endurance, shield = 176

C: 15 Warriors - MoT, blasted standard, full command, shields = 330
C: 15 Warriors - MoN, banner of rage, standard, musician, shields = 323
C: 15 Warriors - MoK, standard, musician, shields = 288
C: 28 Marauders - MoK, musician, standard, great weapons, light armor = 183
C: 28 Marauders - MoK, musician, standard, great weapons, light armor = 183

S: 6 Knights - MoK, standard, musician = 300
S: 6 Knights - MoK, standard, musician = 300

The lvl 4 sorc is good and all, but that guy gets so hunted down by every little thing it's not even funny. I do like the nurgle lore so am wanting to toss those into a try especially the regen saves for knights or marauders which would be amazing. Hell cannons are something I've considered also, but don't have models atm so not sure if I want to order them in.

Also went with some bigger squads in this new list. Multiple units was good and all, but ended up my units would trip over each other sometimes since most people see warriors and toss terrain everywhere in front of us. Was thinking it may go better if I throw in a few big squads see how they do.

I would use a support caster for puppet and give the lord an enchanted shield becuase thats mean.

keep the marauders in a large block of 50 mok gw works too well.

Maybe drop a block of knights for a hell cannon.

Mok warriors with halberds are nasty since they dont get a parry.

Maybe change mon to mot for kicks since its better.

I like where your going with this. Was thinking about halberds on the khorne guys. seeing what I've had happen in a bunch of games now I may just run my sorc lord with the squad of tzeentch warriors. I like the changes you mentioned but still wanting to test out nurgle lore so may throw that chaos sorc in with nurgle wars, and mark of nurgle him, and see how that turns out block of knights would gain me the secondary caster, would have to sift the list around to scrounge up the hell cannon.

Hell cannon totally worth it.

Nurgle magic totally fun I do admit but once I started painting blue warriors (mot warriors) I was like you know what tz all the way hence my suggestion of tz stuff haha.

The sorcerers on discs make sure if something bad happens as in a miscast that they dont take a pricey unit down with them.

But ya warriors ra ra ra go team
