Now, I don't check out the various other mini sites too often (other than Mantic and chapterhouse occasionally)...but isn't that a Scibor piece?!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I don't think GW policy applies to bases. Their models come with bases, if you want to purchase custom ones by all means, it doesn't cut into their profit. My guess is they won't answer the email or send one back saying to stop being such a d-bag.

Say that to the GW player who used an Avatars of War warrior priest on his scratch built War Altar  There wasn't even conversion work, it was straight up AoW. Tell me that isn't priceless And they displayed and discussed its awesomeness on the GW site

No I really wouldn't considering I knew where the base came from (Scibor) before I posted and was making a comment on the inability of GW to effectively edit anything, a point that you have obviously missed, sorry bout that next time I'll use the larger hammer

Actually it was just the AoW cape from their Warrior Priest model, on a GW Warrior Priest. Not an entire AoW warrior priest.
Also, they once apologised to micro arts studios (I think it was them) when they mistakenly said that the scenic bases in one of their What New Today articles was labeled as being made from the GW ruins kit.

They didn't pull the Dire Avenger squad they had up that was on micro art studios bases. As someone already said, they apologised since they thought that the bases were scratch built from a GW ruins set, since that's what the artist told them. They left the images up and, IIRC< even changed the description to mention the bases came from Micro Art Studios.
