After buying the AoBR set I decided that I want to make a BA army . So far I have the models from the AoBR set (duh ) so that is:
-10 Tactical SM
-5 Terminators
-1 Dreadnought
-1 SM Commander

I'm going to buy the codex as fast as possible. What should I get next? The batlleforce (or is it not worth it?), which named heroes, what sort of squads? Any help is welcome.

Thanks in advance, Kiliaan

The battleforce isn't really worth it. You really want to get a Librarian or convert that SM commander to be one. Also a fair number of assault marines and a 2-3 Sang priests. Razorbacks (can also be used as rhinos) It really depends on what kind of list your looking to run. But those are the basics.

It depends Blood Angels have so much scope...

Take Dante and you can field and entire Sanguiary Guard army, take Astorath and it can be totally Death Company.

In my opinion the best way is buy the codex read through it carefully, search the forums, YouTube, and gw website for ideas of how to use them. And pick you favourite you can easily make them up in your face and fast, or site back and shoot.

Assault Marines are definitely a good place to start. I'd get a box of them and a box of Death Company, then mix and match the parts to get some really cool looking Assault Marines. You could use the bits left over to make a future squad of Tactical Marines look cool too.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

The battle force for the BA gives a reasonable mix of units for you to play around with and can be useful if you are not sure what you want, or you can easily trade out things you don't want with other people.

I should start with the coex, 2 assault squad boxes, 1 death company box, Sanguinery priest and, if you want, Sanguinery Guard.

I seriously would advise against the Battleforce.

It contains fifteen tactical marines, which is about fifteen too many.

My suggestion start with 10-20 assault marines as these are your main troop choices.

Also a librarian is a good choice.

Assault marines with jump packs or assault marines in razorbacks/rhinos are the core of many BA forces
