Hi im new to this forum but not new to 40k and other 40k forums.

Random question to start of with but is anyone here from south london and fancy meeting up at a game workshop for a few games?

All my pals who used to play and collect warhammer have become lazy c.. or moved away.. and the mates i see now i won't even bring up 40k because there to ''manly''..

There are quite a few Londoners, including a few Southerners. Some might even be willing to set foot inside a GW!!! If you find a Dakkaite to play with, you could also call Dark Sphere (under Waterloo train station) to see if they'd let you schedule a small game there. You won't get the same level of presurised sales pitch and the staff there (Alexi and Andy) are quite relaxed.

Personally, I'm not playing at the moment due to work and other pressures. Post around the forums though, and you'll see quite a few Londoners.

I'm in London a lot with my girlfriend living there, considering moving down here too, so finding gamers would be a nice bonus

At the moment, I am too busy to game, but I am intending making the odd trip to London for a game once work calms down. What do you play?

I'd prefer a non-GW venue though (don't know how many there are in London though!)

Yo mate, I live in South Norwood, whereabouts are you? Met up with a bloke from redhill the other day, we are going to try to get a few good men together as a group. (the GW in west Croydon would be the initial target) Just to reassure you, I ain't lazy and I am as manly as a walking gorilla scrotum.

OT - Since you are in Essex Da Boss, you might be interested in the new location Wayland are moving to - Iit will include a large gaming area, but no confirmation on a bar as yet.
