So this is the beginning of day #2, and I show up late and tired on Sunday. I am really tired and I am a little bit out of it during my first game. I normally work nights, and this is very early for me.

If i recall correctly, the blood angel player is only allowed to field 1 DC dread. I'll check the codex when i get home!

Nice win. All drop pod armies really struggle when 1) they go first against a reserved opponent and 2) when they get the rest of their army T2 before a single unit of the enemy is on the table. So based on this tournament result will you be sticking with this list?

You can have 1 x DC Dread for every 5 DC.

Interesting game! Very odd BA list

Hmmm interesting games. Game with the necrons was facinating because he was able to counter your paladin unit so easily....something that most armies couldnt do.

Your last game against the drop pod list I thought you played well based on deployment, while your opponent really couldnt seem to consolidate his list.

Im not a huge fan of the paladin deathstar. I assume you were trying it out for fun? Cant really complain at you playing all aspects of grey knights, its how you become good with an army. My only thought was on how I think a 10 man paladin list is somewhat boring and lacking in variety as its hard to make mistakes with a 10 man paladin unit as it can really steamroll anything in close combat and can shoot its way through honestly anything.

I also cant imagine how that blood angels list isnt way over 2000 points. seems like it has way to much stuff.

Just did some math on army builder, comes up to 2000 exactly. Anyways nice and different GK list and a cool batrep.

Smitty deathstars without SS can easily be countered by melta/plasma/lascannon spams.

Eldar lists just has very little solutions to MEQ/TEQ in general without sinking huge points into BL/EML. Like in your list your FDs are one shot deals, if your dice goes bad or his are hot, most likely you wont get a second chance. And Fire Prisms are probably the best at dealing against TEQs at range especially if you guide it.

yea my only point was that when you have over 50% of your army in one unit that has no disadvantages, it sonewhat limits your options.

My army list for the upcoming BoLS Wargames Con will change 70% from what I brought here.
