but I wanted your opinion aswell.

Basically I have around 15 pound to get a new model but I'm stumped on what to get.

At first I was set on getting the Librarian in Terminator Armour but then i thought I might get a Chaplain instead to either add with my 5 man Assault Squad or with the 5 man Termie Assault Squad and Lysander.

Which in your opinion is better for it's points? I'm still learning really so I really don't know.

I'll show my army list if needed.

Insight will be greatly appreciated.

The best I can tell take the jump chaplin and keep him behind the land raider, jumping up with it. When the unit inside gets out, jump him into coherency and then assault.

I'd go with the Librarian. Null Zone is amazing and you've got plenty of other decent powers in the Codex.

At any rate the Librarian is usually considered one of the best options for HQ choices.

Librarian in Terminator armor. But model him with a storm shield, not a combi-weapon or storm bolter.

A Librarian with 2/3++, Psychic Hood, and null zone rocks hard with Assault Terminators.

It would be over-kill running him with Lysander, though.

How are you delivering the assault marines? Jump packs, rhino, land raider?

Yeah it seems general gist I'm getting is to go with Librarian.

The next thing to think about is who I'm going to stick the Librarian with.

As kronk pointed out it's over kill to put Lysander and a Librarian in the same team.

Should I stick him with a Tac Squad? Or is that a waste?

I have two 10 man tac squads one thats more Assault orientated and one thats more hold the line orientated.

Not going for my cornflakes suggestion?

So instead of a Special Character I think I'll just go with a box of Cornflakes to just stick on the front line, like a walking wall absorbing all the fire =p

Who can resist several hundred flakes of nutritious flakes with a 6++ Corn save?

I think a librarian would be much more useful than a chaplain. Chaplains really don't do much unless you get the charge.
