I'm actually asking out of curiosity more than anything, Do the Chaos Daemons play better in Fantasy or 40K ? I don't play them, So I really don't know personally but since they are the only things that are cross compatible i figured it was worth looking into.

Even before grey knights, demons in fantasy were highly valued. They still are, it's just the old OP list got stopped and most players, who spammed it, are butthurt.

Daemons broke the previous edition of Fantasy, and while they're not that powerful anymore, they're still definitely a high end army, while Daemons in 40k have always been sort of a mid tier list.
