okay so in this list ghazghkull will roll out with 3 meganobz and they will use a battlewagon. I have never used meganobz because i cant attach a painboy in unless its mad dok grotsnik .They all have different weapons only for the purpose of allocating wounds. I dont't know how exactly i plan to use this unit but they will definately take out their share of walkers and vehicles if they get the chane.

in a 2k list i feel i have to at least have 2 full squads of boyz because they are awesome

Snikrot's ambush ability i love and the two burnas i feel are a must even thought they are expensive.

after the first game using burna boys i cant let them leave my list with a few exceptions. i thought i would try using a looted wagon and attack a skorcha and have the burnas role along. I just think thiis unit would be fun i immagine them a a bunch of pyros

i know zagstruk and his squad is really expensive but I just love being able to drop behind enemy lines and making the opponent scramble the kommandos do this two

the kans I decided to put in because they have the better bs and rokkits with the higher strength should be a somewhat unit to lay damage on vehicles although its not a hard hitting unit

my other looted wagon with the boomgun i added because i like the model i converted and it has that ordinance with strength 8 ap3 that i love.

Expect alot of flak for the list being all o er the place. General consensus with orks is pick one thing and go all the way with it. I.e. Kan-wal bw-spam, greentide and such.

Have you tested the list? Looks fun if not supercompetitive.

HQ and Meganobz are fine, Burnas and Looted Wagon are fine. Rest doesn't go well due to speed the army moves plus Stormboyz are rubbish.

I think it has potential. You're going to hear the whole "pick an Ork theme and stick with it" a lot on here. It most ccertainly does work but it isnt gospel.

I'd change the sluggas to shootas and plod them forward. They provide an intimidating footprint with a large number of bodies.

I think Gaz and the BW, burnas, DSing in zagstruck + Snikrot ambushing from backfield have the potential to tie up vital units as your shoota boys move forward, 120 shots a turn.
The Kans, BW and wagons will force your opponent to choose which armor he takes down. I do think you could shave quite a few points here and there and add in some lootas for taking out mid level armor. A BM with a KF is an option too to give the BW/wagons cover.

Only thing is at 2000 you only have 2 scoring troop choices.

thanks for your reply guys your right i should have another scoring unit, two isnt enough in most circumstances. i mistakened the mega nobz as a troop i think. I think also that i will try this just to see how it fairs out. i usually end up playing against space marines and me and my friends always prefer to play planet strike now. i dont have a ghazghkull model yet but now that finecast is out im definately buying him. also i hope some plastic mega nobz come out. im still skeptical just because of the fact that i play against space marines and a lot of marines will have power weapons attached to their units. if it were apocalypse i could always add a painboss to the unit for cheap points and give everyone an invul. ill take the suggestion of running this list first and then use everyones suggestions accordingly, merci beaucoup

Grots are great for scoring units..... ok so they are only good if sat hidden on an objective or uses as a wall to stop your flank from being charged / block up holes stopping people from deepstriking in but for 40pts for 10+herder you can't really go wrong

No you are correct. Ghaz makes the Meganobz troops.

I wouldn't call Stormboyz rubbish, but they are a little
overpriced for what they can do...

12 points for basically a Ork Boy who can move 12" and D6" additional, but if rolls a 1 then one dies. Awesome. Stormboy does exactly the same as a normal Ork but for double the price for moving double the distance. Odd in the Zagstruk tax and you can assault after deep strike put lose D3 Stormboy in the process, that's not cool. They are rubbish and definately over priced. What Stormboyz can do normal Orks can do as well.

You're looking at it from a game winning, must use that which is most effective, both in points value and damage potential... What happened to 'Hey, its an ork with a bit rokkit on his back who can jump over stuff'.... WAAAgh etc etc... But seriously, I know they probably have no place in a tournament or serious game winning list, but they're kinda fun, and can be useful. Nice in a trukk/BW list where they can sit behind the vehicles and hop over to add their weight in an assault...

That's the point. I don't want to use crap medicore units in game what kill themselves, take morale and fall back off the board. That's like a dumb dwarf, it's not big nor clever.

You're really not looking at this from an orky point of view.... Maybe play a different army if you don't like stuff thats unreliable and unpredictable...

Your game play style is different to mine. It's nothing to do with 'orky point of view' , hell you don't even like Deffkoptas because they're too awesome, honestly, who says that?

I never said I don't like Deffkoptas.. I just said they were OP and I had decided to not use them in games against mates as they had ruined the game a couple of times.... No need to get pissy about it..

I'm not getting pissy. I don't understand why you say something which is rubbish (Stormboyz) are ace and that something which is awesome (Deffkopta) ruins games - WTF? Any ork player worth his salt will say Koptas are awesome. Only time they ruin games is for your opponent because they kick so much ass
