Why do you mix weapons in the trueborn squad? No matter what you shoot your not optomized.

Heavies look groovy except for nightshields and disentigrator cannons.

I dont like the scourge unit.

Why are warrior squads not in a transport.

I mixed the weapons in the squad when I built it and I don't want to change it so i'm stuck with that now. :(

The night shields are there because I had a few points left over, what should I use them on instead?

I will change the dissies to DLs

I personally love the scourge unit and the warriors aren't in a transport because I didn't have the points

Thanks for the feedback

You need to get rid of all your dracons and sybarites. The dracon alone costs you 37 pts and the latter 39. For your warrior squads and your true born, you do NOT want then assaulted. So by taking out your 'saving grace' you will really be more able to use them effectively ie. shooting instead of hmm I got an agoniser. Lets gooooo.

On two the splinter and blaster combi. I guess it adds flexibility. But I understand you already built them that way. But you can always just not take a full squad. and keep it uniform.

Take off the plasma grenades... No assaulting for trueborn. Take lots of wyches if you want that.

If you have a venom thats 'blaster' born. take the extra splinter cannon. More shooty is best.

For wyche weaponry I run sharnets or hydras. never used razor flails but ur call. Your list and models

For the warriors. No need for a syrabite. Waste of pts. It could be that you need raiders and more venoms. In turn you keep them out in the open. Fine. Do what ya gotta do. But again its 315 pts for 2 dark lances... Because that all they will prolly shoot.

Scourges... I have 10 new and 18 to 20 old ones. I like them. And you are using the anti tank versions so good. But not worth their pts in my opinion. Beasts prolly better.

If you are running the two ravagers with the jet fighter then you need to have some way for them to work together or mesh for lack of a better word. Id sey have two lance gun boats (ravagers) with flick fields. no night shields. waste of pts prolly. and then out fit the jet fighter for just anti infantry. 4x necrotoxin 1x splinter cannon 2 x dissentegrators. so you have one beast of a anti infantry and 2 anti tank.

I'd follow monti14's (and smitty's) advice, especially about the exclusion of sybarites and dracons. Having upgrade characters for marines and dire evangers makes sense, as both as shooty and assaulty (and tough), but DE should be focused on one or the other. And Warriors/Trueborn do not have the resilience for assault to justify that upgrade.

Actually you're not. Bite the bullet, grab your hobby knife and go Wookiee. Rip off those arms.

I did. Razorflail? Pff. As a piece of plastic model, razor fail. The curved blade broke about 4 crescents down from the tip. I also popped of a pair of HGs and put on a wyche's Shardnet. I left the blast pistols on the hekatrix models but they're off the list.

Scourges: pretty good anti-I, and a speedy consideration of pain for your opponent, he'll have to be careful about the flank where you have them hopping about. I'd *not* use them for the two lances though.

Ok what if I change the blasters in the mixed squad with the shredders on the warrior squads?

Also i understand what you mean about the Sybarites and the Dracons but I like to go all out on my command models and I always like to put in a command model even when its not as effective

Not the Shredder, instead try the Splinter Cannon has more reliability to score wounds.

I take it you paint well too? That always does look cool on the table. And sometimes having the upgrade is good for the leadership boost.

Just not often found in cut-throat tourney lists.

It all depends on how you want to play. If you want an occasional game with a friend, then keep what you want, and make small exceptions.

If you want to play in a tournament, or very competitively, then you will need some major overhalls.
