I am being lazy at the moment and kind of tired so I didn't look to see if this was already asked. What size base do people use for their hellcannons? Also what other models or conversions have people used? I was thinking about using a tyranid pyrovore for mine. Do you think anyone would have a problem with that if I put it on an appropriate base? Thanks.

The Hellcanon does not come with a base. I have been experimenting with base sizes but all the current bases are too cramped to fit everything.

Yea, I didn't think it came with a base, at least, it doesn't show one on GW website. I guess technically it is a war machine, but I figured it acted like a monster enough that it would need a base.

I thought it was unit type Monster, not war machine? Hence why it gets Thunderstomp?

It is a monster and I dont think anyone would complain about you using the nid so unless the opponent is a total @$$ or the rules where you play state you cant other than that I wouldnt mind personally.

The cannon is a monster not a war machine and thats what makes it awesome

Sorry, I'm still new to fantasy, but are you saying that the Hellcanon has Thunderstomp?

That is a good question Personally I dont know something that might be good to know tho haha.

Just dug up mine and well seeing as the base of the juggernaut is about 2 warrior bases wide and then the hallcannon is bigger i would say 3 warrior bases wide if not 4 I could be very wrong but thats what it looks like (chains not included in seeing how wide it is).
