I've just finished reading this:
http://www.badassoftheweek.com/cochran.html
And i'm quite taken with the idea of doing my valkries as WASPs (Womans Service Airforce Pilots) complete with a wasp colour scheme (what the hell, it'll look cool) only problem is how the hell do I model up pilots so they look female any ideas?
oh and to 40K it a bit WASP = Womens Aerial Storm trooper Pilots) ! (guess what my ST's are gonna be riding round in!)

Once more down to the beach, dear friends, once more,
To drown our sorrows with our English beer!
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility;
But when the blast of alcohol blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger:
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood. |

All my Valkyrie pilots are women, but I've only ever had one person notice.
Basically, you can use the old female dark eldar plastic bodies, clip off the shoulderpads and file down the base so it sits nicely on the legs, the arms cover up the thinness of the torso. The new Dark Eldar bodies don't work as well, but if you can get some hands on them, you might be able to make something happen using greenstuff etc.
I'll try and get pics up to show you what I've done.

Its so hard to see the pilots that no-one is going to notice unless you tell them. However its a neat idea. If you;re after actual breasts then I would also recommend the DE torsos, however the new ones are a bit more compact and rather neat. You might need to trim them down a bit to fit as they are somewhat statuesque The alternative is to GS up the exisitng pilots a bit.

Here are some pics in case you are wondering what the end product looks like.
From three seperate vehicles (Vulture, Valkrie and Vendetta).

Neat conversion, reminds me of the Banshee pilots from Starcraft 2.

Really all you need to do is maybe find some new woman heads, stick some green stuff boobs on and youre good to go.

You don't even need female heads, since all the Valkyrie pilot heads are helmeted anyway so you can't even tell if the pilot is male/female.

Rummage through whatever female torsoes you can find, Elves/Eldar are certainly the most common source. Something like what Snarky did looks pretty good, you just need a torso with a front that looks believably like flak armour or something else a pilot could wear.
