I am currently in the process of rejoining the hobby and reviving my long dormant Craftworld army. I've had this Eldar force for years and it has seen at least four different colour schemes on some of the models. I've already begun the project and the bulk of the reconstruction work has already been finished. The delay in starting the log is down to having camera issues which have only just been recently resolved. Most of the models that still fit into the current range have been repurposed and augmented with some of the newer kits, such as the Wraithlord.

Anyway onto the models:

Backlog 1: Guardian Defenders, Wraithguard, Jetbikes, Warpspiders, Avatar of Khaine

Backlog 2: New Wraithlord, Farseer + bodyguard, more Wraithguard, Banshees, D-cannon platform still in Iyanden colours.

Stuff scavenged from the bits box

Close ups:
Two of the defenders, still got at least 4 of these plastic guys to go, then four metal guys to man the weapon platforms. These guys were new as I didn't feel like Power Spraying 16 guys with delicate antennas.

Got ten of these guys, which took me around 10 years to collect, partly due to the hefty price on them and my limited pocket money at the time. Salvaged them from my Iyanden army that used the old Craftworld Eldar codex from way back.

These guys were saved from ebay. They had about 15 layers of paint on them, six in total + one exarch.

Showed these guys in the Showcase forum a couple of days ago, the bikes are about 7 years old, the riders are new.

This is the oldest model in the army, aside from one of the lead warlocks with a force rod. I bought the army originally near the end of 2nd ed, and I think this was newest model in the army at the time. It was hardly used over the years and sat mangled in a box for years.

Same tank with it's Wave Serpent brother. The serpent served as a test model for the vehicles and was painted a couple of days after the kit was launched, the ar,y remained untouched until a couple of weeks ago when I restarted it.

Currently working on more vehicles. Currently bummed out on painting this much white, but figured the project log would be good motivation to keep hammering away at the heap of miniatures sat next to me.

Prefer this design of platform to the current plastic one. Again one is salvaged from my Iyanden force, the other is an Ebay rescue. The crew are next up after the platforms are finished.

This is Serpent 2, again, its more white, so I keep chipping away at it when I can be bothered. This one has Scatter Lasers, however the older one has Star Cannons, back from when they were actually good, I'm thinking of trying to prise that one apart and replacing the Star Cannons with EMLs

I wouldn't want to change with you for painting all that white u.u And I'm complaining about orange
Really love that crystal on your illum zar! Will you leave ur troops like that? I feel like they have a bit of too much blue to fit the tanks?

Constant white will kick your a$$ my friend (I suppose painting any color constantly would though) but everything looks really good so far. Keep plugging away!

The white on the tank looks spectacular and I absolutley love the blue and white scheme of the army. Very nice looking stuff here!

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

Well I always liked the idea of white grav tanks, but figured doing the whole army white would break me, so decided to keep the white to the elites and vehicles. The guys are actually turquoise, but the crazy nature of that colour makes them look blue on camera and green in person.

Heavy Weapon platforms and crew are done and integrated their respective squads. Still got at least 4 regular Guardians to finish off (contemplating stripping 4 more from my Iyanden army but i'm sick of painting the buggers).

Not sure whats up next, the Wave Serpent is ongoing, but I think focus will turn to the Wraithguard. Got three in front of me and three on the shelves.
