I should add that i was TRYING to go for a snow effect on this one, make it look like hed been marching through the snow. not sure how that came out though

They are a bit messy, and the paint is too thick

The techniques, creativity and detail are very well done though.

I think they're great: thin your paints down just a tad, it'll even it up a bit.

But I especially like your mud-weathering effects that you've created, it adds a touch of realism to the model!

really, too thick? theres only one or two layers on each, im very stingy with my paint, it might just be the flash making it look thick.
