Hello all,

So I am planning on starting a new fantasy army. I play Empire right now and I am looking to start an evil army. Ideally I would like to do something very different from empire. I have played Orge Kingdoms in the past and was never to fond of them.

I would like a more elite army with a fairly low model count... really as long as it's under 200 I would be happy.

Warriors of Chaos are probably your best bet. Warriors themselves are high cost per model, but very tough and decently versatile.

Well sir I propose you search the swap shop and ebay etc and you can wip up a competitive WoC army for around 200 bucks.

Other than me liking characters and lord models quite a bit I spent more than that on lords and heroes etc.

Point being warriors cost lots of points and there for dont need many to make up points.
The lords and heroes cost a lot of points.
So as long as you stay away from lots of marauders you can keep it pretty cheap.

The forces of destruction favor their hordes...but DE or WoC would work well

Hydra is awesome still so many of those little elves.

Another option Daemons those guys are almost as angry as WoC

Like next to a chaos lord on juggernaut what is the next most angry thing .... Blood thirster for sure.

Cool cool, I think I will take a closer look at Daemons, we have a lot of WoC players in my area and I have always really like the Flamer models.

The one things with Daemons is that I really don't know a good place to start with them any advice on that topic would be awesome

Too start I would work on a block of bloodletters 30+, 2 boxes of flamers, then a 3rd block of infantry to get 3 legal units. Can't go wrong with more letters next to that it's a toss up, maybe a small unit 10-20ish of horrors to put a Herald of Tzeentch in. A HoT is possibly the best hero choice in the game at lower level due to master of sorcery so a horror bunker would be beneficial. Also a Herald of Khorne to go with the bloodletters.

I second that you should end up with more than 60 letters.

Maybe those weird slaanesh things with the scorpion tail and ant eater heads fiends or seekers ( the ones without riders) great for getting behind the enemy.
