Looking forward to your revisited checkpint station, Compel.
@BeAfraid, are you working on something you may sell or just your personal collection?
I got my bridge/cliffs terrain piece done enough for paint so I've undercoated it and based it in minitare earth (pre-shaded it a little bit with black too).
Currently printing the Pulp Alley rulebook so I can give the rules a more leisurely read.

Interesting.
What arms are you using for the Wracks?
Bit of a mix.
Lower bodies are DE and High elf spearmen, torsos are mainly 2nd ed Ork boyz (the masks fit nicely over them, and it gives them a hunched-forward look that i like. Less upright than the current wrack models, and a bit creepier in my view.
Arms are a bit of a grab bag. The tiny manipulator/claw/syringe arms from the Talos kit made it onto a lot of them.
I've also used ork and ogre arms, slightly modified, and often cut off at the hand to allow for nasty contrivances, and DE/Dark Elf arms.
A couple have tentacles, and one has a pair of Genestealer Rending Claws. I think at least one has a Pink Horror arm in there too.
I'll post pics of them when i get time. I have 40 converted up so far, and 20 grotesques.
None are finished yet, so it's a bit rough and ready, but hopefully i'll find time to give them a bit of polish soon
Thanks for answering.
Pics would be nice. Automatically Appended Next Post: Today I finished six Bile Thralls.
I'll field only 6 of them, 10 would be overkill.

Today I'll be taking pictures of some Emperor's Children that I've been painting for the past few weeks.
I'm delighted to have finally finished the last one this morning!
Not sure what I'll start next though, I could start highlighting my Night Lords again, model up my Predator, work on another of my CSM mercenaries or work on my Night Lord Chosen...

Having got 100 LotR minis done (3 of my first 100 were 40k, but now I'm on 103), I'm taking a break today to work on a Deadzone Strike Team. Enforcers, each one heavily converted, and using a fair few other Bitz in the making. So far, this is my planned setup:
Sergeant: 15
Pathfinder: 9
Pathfinder: 9
Assault Enforcer: 10
Defender: 12
Sniper: 12
Total: 68 (off the top of my head, think that's right)
The Pathfinders are a kitbash of Corporation Ranger and Enforcer bits, as is the Assault Trooper. The Defender, Sniper and Sarge will all be in full Enforcer plate armour, and each model will be getting a unique colour scheme, like the Spartan team on Halo Reach.

Quite happpy with how the team has come together though, and I'll be writing up some backstory for them between now and finishing them.

I think the sniper is 13 points but you're still under 70. Looking forward to seeing your results.
I guess my big fat terrain piece is done so now I just wanna finish up a couple of mars attacks models to use for a pulp alley game later this week. Maybe some other miscellaneous painting.

Off of work, today, but I'm torn between two projects: cleaning mold lines before assembly on a 5-man Forge Fathers squad (just to toss in the display cabinet - came in a grab bag) and pushing forward on 'Operation: Reorganize the Hobby Space so I can Actually Use it Vaguely Effectively.'
The spehss dwarves are tempting, as it's only five models. I've been on a quest, of late (as I may have actually mentioned earlier in this thread - I like to pop in every now and again and I'm super slow and sporadic in my P&Ming), to finish all of my small, manageable projects. Knocking out one-off Bones fantasy models, finishing board game mini-forces (with the Veermyn bases painted and matte varnish applied, my Project Pandora 'dip and done' forces are finally complete!), etc. They were taking up precious compartments in my Mantic parts container, anyway.
The hobby room cleanup, though, has been a long and dearly held dream. I had long ago reached critical hobby-mass, whereupon I had accumulated too much stuff to properly access, let alone empty, my shelves and reorganize properly. Lacking sufficient vertical storage space, the avalanche spread out horizontally. Reclaiming floorspace is a pretty high priority, so I can install more shelving and a pegboard over my workbench, freeing up lower shelves and cabinets for the contents of the model and material landslide. Got to use that high ceiling for something!
So, more productive Dakkanauts, anyone want to nudge me in one direction or the other? I'm dithering, which does nothing good for my already weak motivation. Help me, Dakka-wan KenAkka. You're my only hope!

Sigh. I'm at the same place, small fun projects or clean the hobby area. I had finally taken the plunge and started slowly transitioning stuff out of the office into a storage area when my daughter decided to move in to the office and crowd it with her stuff. Now I've barely got room for my chair on the floor =/ So... I've been doing the small projects.
But if you've got the opportunity, having all of that space is nice, so that may be my vote.

Double sigh. There's been a vote, so it looks like I'm cleaning. If I die under a pile of sprues, boxes, and MDF scraps, pierced by dozens of bits of miscellaneous (but invariably sharp) hardware and strangled by wire, blame GrimDork!
P.S. - Don't avenge me; just send him all of my stuff - he'll eventually suffer the same fate.
