The following 1000 point list is for a team tournament in July:

Grey Knights - 1000
Librarian - Might, Quicksilver, Sanctuary, Shrouding - 170
10 Terminators - Justicar with Halberd, 5 Halberds, 2 Demon Hammers, 2 Psycannons & Swords, Psybolt Ammo - 470
5 Terminators - Justicar with Halberd, 2 Halberds, 1 Demon Hammer, 1 Psycannon & Sword - 225
Dreadnought - 2 TL Autocannons, Psybolt Ammo - 135
Total - 1000

My teammate will be fielding Blood Angels with something like 1 Librarian, 2 5-man Assault Squads with Meltas in Razorbacks with TL Plasmaguns / Lascannons, and 3 ACLC Predators. I think he might be taking a Furioso Librarian as well.

The following 2000 point list is for fun:

Grey Knights - 2000
Lord Kaldor Draigo – 275
5 Paladins – 1 Master-crafted Halberd, 1 Halberd, 1 Psycannon & Halberd, 1 Psycannon & Sword, 1 Master-crafted Demon Hammer - 325
10 Terminators - Justicar Thawn, 5 Halberds, 2 Demon Hammers, 2 Psycannons, Psybolt Ammo - 545
10 Terminators - 6 Halberds, 2 Demon Hammers, 2 Psycannons - 450
Dreadnought - 2 TL Autocannons, Psybolt Ammo - 135
Dreadnought - 2 TL Autocannons, Psybolt Ammo - 135
Dreadnought - 2 TL Autocannons, Psybolt Ammo - 135
Total - 2000

Thoughts?

In the second list replace 3 x dreadnoughts with 2 x venerable dreadnoughts. they'll end up doing better in the long run and give away fewer KPs.

I'd also consider doing away with Thawn, swapping the master-crafting to the psycannons and running paladin squads instead of terminator ones - more durability and hence in the end more bang for your buck.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Consider that 10 paladins w/ 4 psycannon, warding stave, 2 hammers, 2 swords, 5 halberds is 650 pts.

2 of them is 1300.

Draigo makes 1575

2 venerable dreadnoughts makes 1965

Allows 35 points for a banner and/or master-crafting. Gives away no more or less KPs (depending on combat squadding), fields 2 more psycannon than your original list to boot.

While I find your suggestions interesting, I was specifically looking to avoid running pure Paladins. My Terminators draw a lot of high strength / low AP shooting. This means the extra wound rarely matters. The plus is that my Dreadnoughts are usually left to do whatever they want. That may change now that they can officially score.

I've found Thawn to be invaluable.

Fair enough, terminators aren't exactly rubbish. I'd definitely swap the dreadnoughts for 2 venerables though

Still debating about this 1000 point list.
