Hey guys, looking to tap the collective wisdom here. I picked up a blister for Morvahna the Autumn Blade yesterday, and it seems it is from before MkII came out, as the cards have different rules than my faction book entry.

Does anyone know if PP does exchanges or something to fix this, or am I pretty much stuck getting the faction deck?

Well, I had a few old cards in a few boxes (mostly stuff that´s been laying in my FLSG since MKI).

Usually either a visit to the place where you bought the stuff or a quick email/call to PP should bring you the correct card.

Yeah, I'm having a similar issue. I bought a Gorman Di Wulfe blister this past weekend, but I'm unsure if I have an old card, the only thing that I can tell is that my Kreoss card has color for his health boxes, whereas Gorman has a black and white health box...

A good indicator is the point cost.

MKI had way higher pointcosts than MKII. Not sure what the cost for Gorman is, but I´d say if it´s more than 2 or 3 you can safely say it´s an old one ^^

Local Game Store owners sometimes have extra cards. Otherwise,
check with local players to see if they have the card, or if you
end up with a lot of Mk1 cards then buying the 2010 MK2 deck
is the way to go.

I had the same thing for Aiyana and Holt when I got them last year. I called PP about it and they sent out the new Mk2 cards for them.

Privateer press has a lovely Gorman card for 50 cents (not something I wouldn't mind paying)... BUT I do mind the 8 dollars and 41 cents required to ship it to me lol.

nooo, don't pay them if you have bought the model from a store. email the frontdesk and they'll sort you out. That email address should be on the main website somewhere.

I went to their store, checked the cards, saw that the card was 50 cents, and I simply thought "I bet shipping sucks". Went to the checkout and saw it was 8.41. I backed out and emailed PP about my old card issue, just waiting to hear back.

I had a similar issue with a pHaley I got, but as it turns out my store has a box of replacement cards since it seems this isn't uncommon.

If your store carries a decent selection of WM/H stuff they may also have such a box.

I wouldn't know, as I can only get to that store once or twice a month.

With the backlog PP has in shipping right now you'd prolly be able to stop by before it got to you.

Oh the email that their working on it won't take to long. I got mine soon after the initial email.

However, its been a week now and I have heard nothing. I'm just going to be patient with it though as there's no other way for me to get my Retribution card otherwise (no deck, and its not in there store).

Heh, fortunately I have much more time than money lately. I have the book so I can always run from that for the time being, and honestly it will be weeks before I get my army together and ready for a game anyway.

their missing parts service seems to have improved alot of late (at least in the uk)

first time I emailed them it took 3 emails and 2 weeks to get an arm /card lol


recently I got several MK 1 cards, I emailed them and got a reply within 2 hours! and the replacement cards arrived within a week, tip top service!

Just email them whenever you've got an old card, missing part or miscasts. I've got all my stuff replaced without any problem and in a reasonable timeframe

Like everyone said, just e-mail privateer press support. Don't post on their forums.

I had an old card in a pEiryss blister that I bought, and I just e-mailed their frontdesk. The card was in the mail free of charge the next business day.

I just buy the deck for any army I own. Gives you plenty of replacements too, since, being cards, they can suffer some horrible accident "Cough" COFFEE"Cough"

Either you can buy the faction deck or, depending on your FLGS, you can ask if they replace cards. Worst case scenario you can always just order them off the PP website.

Emailing PP will almsot always get you the card for free

Or just wait until you're buying stuff like extreme sculpts or
shirts, then just throw in whatever cards you need in the
same order.

*sigh* the old card strikes again... I bought a Dire Troll Mauler, and it came with the old card... lol

Miniature Market has cards, and 5$ shipping. Before my FLGS started carrying Warmachine, I bought a lot of stuff from them. Of course since my shop picked up the game, I've bought locally. You could always grab a few models and make it worth your money for the shipping.

I would, but I got my fill of purchasing game stuffs at Origins Game Faire today... I bought a choir of menoth, the hordes rules, trollbloods warpack, and a dire troll mauler for 123 dollars... and the only one that had issues was the mauler

Just mail PP, you should have it in before you can finish your models
