Hi, I've got a 1500pt tournament coming up very soon and I'm trying to build the most competitive list I can with the models I have:
Warboss or warbike with PK and cybork
Big Mek with KFF
60x shoota boyz including 2 nobz with PK and bosspole
40x choppa boyz including 2 nobz with PK and bosspole
3 big shoota boyz
4x tankbusta/ rokkit boyz
7x nobz, including one with bosspole
15x lootas
5x burnas including KMB mek
3 kannon big gunz including krew
5x warbikerz including nob with PK and bosspole
11x stormboyz including nob with PK and bosspole
3x deffkoptas rokkits including one with a buzzsaw
2x runtherds
20x gretchin
I could probably try and get another small mob bought and painted by tournament day, or I could convert some more lootas/ burnas etc but time is quite short...
I was thinking of going with 3 30 strong boyz mobs with PK nobz, the lootas, the bikes and stormboyz and both HQs and the buzzsaw kopta atm
Any lists or ideas would be very welcome!

I'm guessing that what you posted is what you have to work with? well lets go ahead make you a pretty good list.
Warboss? Make him Gahzskull and have fun with the best HQ in the game
Those 60 shoota boys? Make them Choppas, I have never ever liked loosing out on my bonus attacks in combat, trust me it will work.
If you only have 15 Lootas split them into two squads, so you can split fire to eliminate Mech. Burna boys should always be taken in squads of 10 or more in a battlewagon because they are absolutely obnoxious and amazing.
The nobs, you should know how to run these guys!
What I have just posted is usually what I play with.
Make a list like this
Gahzskull
Big Mek with KFF
30 Boys with choppas, Nob, PK BP x3
8 Lootas
7 Lootas
Nob squad configured with PK and BC, in a transport!
Stormboys nob pk bp
I don't have my Codex around but that should be close to 1500,
Let me know what your list will be and I will help you with tactics, trust me I ran this town with my Orks for about a year and a half

You either need to get some transports to get your orks across the field reliably, or you need some killa kanz to screen them as they run. You really should get one of those two things. I suggest Battlewagons to carry them over, but Kanz are good too, and Trukks can make due, although they're better at lower points levels.

You could try to run a Green Tide. You look like you have enough models for it- 2x30 Shootaboyz, and 2x20 Sluggaboyz, along with Nobz, and any other footslogging units you'd want.
Warboss and Big Mek together should come to about 200 points, and that'd be 600 points of Boyz, maybe 700 if you gave them all Stikkbombs (which are more useful than you might think, since they let you keep your Furious Charge bonus when assaulting through cover, instead of going with 1 less attack and at the same init as the PK.)
So that's 900 points... 600 left to play with.
About 200 more for the Kannons and all your Gretch and 'herders, for objective camping and fire support, maybe 100 more with those 4 Tankbustas and Nob w/PK. Pop your Lootas down in 2 squads, and take some Deffkoptas for 1st turn Tank Popping. That should be around 1500 points for you.
Hide the Tankbustas in your other Mob, to let them pop out and assault any Transports that your Lootas and Koptas didn't pop, or use them for MBT and Dredd hunting with your Kannons. Big Mek provides cover.

Thanks for all the feedback, people! I should just stress that I don't have the tme or money to go and buy a whole bunch of battlewagons or Killa kanz before the tournament (although theyre good options for the future!) but I could afford to add a few models (a kit or two) Here's my first attempt at a list then:
Big mek with KFF 85
8x lootas 120
7x lootas 105
2x 30 strong shoota mobz with Nob and PK and bosspole 440
2x 30 strong choppa mobz with Nob and PK and bosspole 440
10x grotz with runtherd 40
Deffkopta with buzzsaw and rokkits 70
9x stormboyz including Nob with PK and bosspole 148
3x Kannon big gunz 60
Deffkopta is a wild card, the stormboyz don't advance out of cover and engage weaker units and everything else stays back to shoot. Look any good?

I'd drop the kannons and one of the boyz mobs and put the warboss back in for the AV14 busting strength 10, and put in the 5 warbikes with the nob and power claw. Definitely don't use tankbusters, you have no control over them, they act like morons and they get shot and die like dogs.

Just a suggestion. Put the 4 rokkits guy in the shoota mobs
lsomething like that:
2x 30 shoota mobs w/ Nobs (PK n' BP), 2x rokkits - 480
those rokkits auto kill SMs when they hit, and give you more AV fire power than only 3 kannons.
Or you coudl run them as tnakbustas with a PK Nob.

And you do in fact have control over Tankbustas, it's just that they "have to" go after Tanks and vehicles- which they should be doing already. You can move them anywhere you want, and once all the enemy vehicles are gone (if you have Lootas and Tankbustas, shouldn't take too long) they can turn those Rokkits and Tank Hammers on tough troops and HQs.

I took Tankbustas in a tournament once, they did okay but burnas and lootas should always be in the elites.
However playing against bugs with Tankbustas is rather fun

My problem with tankbustas is that they will be targeted and killed with ease. What would an opponent shoot in a choice between 6pt boyz or 15pt tankbustas, when both are equally easy to kill.

That's where you have the KFF Mek, or a vehicle for them to ride around in. Or just hide them in your Boyz. And they shoot back really strong, too. Those Str 8 shots would be IDing Warriors, and AP3 cuts through the armour of almost all their units, so pretty much every hit would end up being a wound.
Besides, 15 points is actually not that many. It's, what, what a Marine pays for a Scout Sergeant? Who has no special weapons, and can only fight as well as a regular Boy with'eavy Armour?
Get a mob of 15 Bustas, and you'll be getting 5 wounds on pretty much anything, each turn. If not more.

Yeah, technically Tankbusters have to shoot or assault any vehicle in LoS, they do not have to move towards them, as in the case of Rage. IF there are no vehicles in LoS they may act normally. You also can't hide them in another mob, that is an illegal tactic due to the rules of moving units
Do you have to have 'WYSIWYG' or can you run 'Counts as' in this Tourny? Because using the Warboss and calling those 5 bikers Nobs is a very potent force. I believe the term 'Death Star' gets brought up around this subject, though I am not quite sure what 'Death Star' really means besides a really 'Ard unit, as the Orks would say.
Personally I would run the mek back with the Lootas and Kannons to give them cover, run the Warboss and the bikers as nob bikers and run with the boys in those 4 mobs, with big shootas and rokkits in the shoota mobs. You might have to cut out the Stormboys and tankbusters to help pay for this.
If I had time I would toss up a list but I am afriad I don't. Good luck either way!
