If a Vendetta comes in and gets near a piece of terrain like the Skyshield Landing Pad, can I disembark troops onto the upper level of said terrain from the side door of the vehicle?

I don't see anywhere in the rules that addresses this and it came up in a recent tournament.

Vendettas and Valkyries disembark from the base(even the front of the base).

The skyshield, even in Planetstrike games, does not allow for removal of the base from your skimmers.

The rules don't give you permission to, so you cannot disembark onto anything but ground level.

I wish, that would be really fun but breaking the rule about embarking to the base.

Well this is not 100% correct, you can disembark onto any level. as long as you are not more than 2 inches away from your skimmers base.

Though this situation will be rare.

As long as all your models can be within 2 inches of an access point (Or the hull in the case of it being open topped) then this is a legal move.
