Here is my 5 man Black Templar Command Squad after all of the modeling was completed and primed. I added a number of GS skulls, armor plates and badges to them and used micro chains for model ships. I wanted to make them look more unique than the standard robed marines.

Well done! I love the chains you added to them, that really adds to the detail of the model, not to mention they look way better than the ones actually on the model itselt. Good work now lets see them painted!

So you think I should paint them next? LOL. Yes I know , I was in a rush just to get them posted but I will start painting them tonight. To answer a few questions... No they aren't fine-cast, good old regular plastics, I think the primer just makes them look it. I have a huge back stock of Plastic and metal marines so I don't think I'll be fiddling with fine-cast stuff any time soon. The chains are made for model ship building ( think old sailing ships) they are the perfect size for Black Templar and I've used them before to wrap around the bolt pistols and chain-swords. They are way nicer than the molded chains. The champion is my favorite. I think the sword is from the very old metal Emperor's Champion, it was in my bitz box and it fit nicely. Also the Greaves on the boots gave him a real bulked up look.
