Hey all
I work for a store who will be running 40k events over the school holidays and I have been set the task to make an achievement card for the players to complete over the course of 6 weeks. I was hoping that you guys might want to help contribute to this card by posting suggestions for some achievements i can include on the card, some examples that will already be on the card include blowing up your own unit with a blast and to get them painting more we will include getting a point for every painted unit etc.
Any ideas would be awsome!

I will suggest a, " lost a model to a dangerous terrain test"

A few good ones:

Misfire! (Take the weapon of your vehicle/walker off with it's own blast.)

Unpossible (Charge a unit with twice as many or more attacks than you, and survive longer than 3 turns.)

The Horde (Have over 200 friendly models on the table at once (1500 point game))

Strike Team (Have under 20 models on the table at once (1500 point game))

Win a game with only 1 of your models on the table.

So far i have:
-Shouldn't they be here by now?

Use an IC to wipe out a unit on his own

Roll double 1s for a morale check

Finish a game with all your vehicles intact

Has anyone got some more or improvements to the ones i currently have?
Also some more info the games will be 1000points per player and 3v3 teams.

Army of none:
- Lose an Independent Character to a Gets Hot! roll, Daemonic Weapon Rebellion, Perils of the Warp or a similar wound-causing ability.

With my last breath, I take the last laugh (SW Only): Use Lukas the Trickster to destroy a superheavy vehicle.

Not tonight, I have a headache - Fail a Perils of the Warp test.

All your base are belong to us - Win a game controlling all objectives.

Tank Hunter - Destroy 5 enemy tanks (or something along those lines)

How well can you dance?-Shoot over 40 shots at a single unit in 1 turn.(Can be from multiple units, the result doesn't matter)

Tabletopped - Table your opponent.

Always use protection - Have a Independent Character or Monstrous Creature pass 5 armour (or invulnerable) saves in a row.

Spank the Monkey - Kill a Jokaero weaponsmith in assault.

Battle of the Titans: Have your Independent Character kill another Independent Character in Close Combat.

There's Always Next Time: Have the least amount of points in the whole tournament.

Rampage: Win a game and lose zero models in the process. (I've done this in a doubles tourney, we were Eldar and Chaos vs Necron and Tyranids.)

Take 'em both out - Have a blast marker scatter onto two or more enemy units (IC's that are currently attached to the intended target squad do not count)

Fish Fry - Kill more than ten "Tau" models with a flamer weapon

CRASSUS ARMORED ASSAULT TRANSPORT: Use a CRASSUS ARMORED ASSAULT TRANSPORT in a game.

Shaky Ground: Kill a model by taking out the terrain under it.

King of the Pie Plates: Use 5 or more Large Blast Templates in one turn.

Breaking Stride: Cause a unit that had run in the previous turn to run the same or more inches/cm that it ran.

99 Problems: (This is a checklist) Kill 99 Female models (Custom or other)

Physician heal thyself - The model that provides Feel No Pain to a unit fails his own Feel No Pain Check and is removed.

I said fire across her nose, not up it! (from Space Balls) - Destroy a vehicle with a glancing hit progressions (immobilized - weapons destroyed - vehicle destroyed)

And they shall know what we can do! - Destroy a unit through sweeping advance when your total models remaining is less than half of those destroyed.

Thanks for the inspiration everyone, the card is now finished and I should get round to posting the list of achievements that made into the final list after my lunch break.

Nice idea. I'll suggest something similar at events here in the future.

We already do this for our Warmahordes players. Constantly adding achievements with new releases etc.

One of my favourites:

Make a perfect one liner after killing a caster (or HQ in this case)

Perfectly safe: Have a unit kill itself with a Gets hot weapon.

Just bring sunglasses and it should be very easy to get.

I was losing a game horribly, but he then made a 1 inch misstep, putting him in a direct line with Rhyas.... 1 crit later his head was rolling on the floor. (she has critical decapitation )

It seems her head... Wasn't in the right place.

Here's another one: The Enemy Hides in METAL BAWKSES: Have every unit in your army that can take a transport, take one.

I thought about doing this for a tournament once, like just a minor thing like 1 point or something.

here were some of my ideas:

Keep on truckin: field 6 transport vehicles

The great wall of Kan: as orks field 9 killer kans

Super charged engines: move max distance in any vehicle without wrecking/or immobilizing

Heavy Metal: win a game with Necrons

Coward!: cause your opponents HQ character to flee the battle

Domination: hold all objectives

Anhilation: Wipe out your opponents entire army literally, if anything that is still considered "alive" at the end of the game it is not awarded. Such as a immobilized vehicles, under half strength squads etc..

I've got balls of STEEEEEL : One non-IC model surviving 20 wound rolls in a row.

Most of mine are side-specific. The side is listed in parentheses.

Deadeye- Have a single IC kill two enemies in one game with a "Pistol" weapon.

The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves (IG) - Have a Commissar (either rank) execute a squad's commander, and then fail the leadership reroll.

Swordfish (Tau) - Sweeping advance an enemy in Close Combat.

BOOM! HEADSHOT! - Kill an enemy IC with a "Sniper" weapon.

Yummy Souls! (Eldar) - Have a Farseer suffer "Perils of the Warp", and then fail the Ghosthelm save resulting in the Farseer's death.

OMNOMNOM! (Tyranids) - Table an Enemy

Fix Bayonets! (IG) - Charge an enemy, and then win CC that turn.

Skulls for the Skull Throne! (Chaos) - Sweeping Advance an enemy unit with Khrone Berserkers.

Whammy Bar (Chaos) - Finish off / kill a unit with Noise Marines.

What's That Smell? (Chaos) - Win an assault with Plague Marines.

I'll show YOU Heresy! (Chaos) - Beat a Space Wolves army with at least one unit of Thousand Sons in your army.

Caliban Revisited (Dark Angels) - Fight another player playing Dark Angels.

If You Can't Take the Heat... (Space Marines) - Win a game with Vulcan in your list.

The Book of Armaments (Black Templars) - Use the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch during a game.

Hypocrisy (Space Wolves) - Field 3+ Rune Priests in a single game.

The Red Thirst (Blood Angels) - Have at least 1/3 of eligible units suffer from "The Red Thirst" rule during a game.

Strategic Advantage (Eldar) - Table an enemy with an Autarch in your list.

Meatshields (IG) - Respawn a unit of Conscripts with "Send In The Next Wave!" twice in the same game.

Daemonic Recovery (Daemons) - Win a game after receiving the non-preferred set of units in the first turn.

I See You (Tau) - Score 6+ Markerlight hits on a single enemy unit in one turn.

Can't Touch This! (Necrons) - Have a Monolith suffer 8+ rolls on the damage table and survive.

Death, not Glory - Have an IC attempt a "Death or Glory!" attack and fail.

He's Behind You! (IG) - Kill 150+ Points of enemy models with Marbo the turn he appears on the battlefield. Split up all the points in a squad equally among the models for the purposes of this rule.

Slavers (DE) - Secure all objectives on a table (uncontested) and win without tabling your enemy.

Tissue Paper is Pretty Tough (DE) - Have a vehicle suffer 4+ rolls on the vehicle damage table and survive.

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!! (Tyranids) - Field a list including at least 2 Pyrovores.

Where's My Ride? - Field an army with no Dedicated Transports.

Vehicular Manslaughter - Field an army where every unit is a vehicle or can begin the game mounted in a vehicle (Drop Pods Count).

In Balance - Field an army with at least one selection from each FOC slot.

Spam-a-lot- Field an army with at least three of the same non-troop selection. (Ex. 3x Razorbacks)

"Guardsman Shooting" - Fire more than 10 shots, and miss more than 1/3 of them.
